I work for Best Buy and I’ve always bought zagg shield because they are the best protection you could have but this one is actually flawed. Normally, I approve of full protection but on an ipad unfortunately it cant be done. This screen protector although great. It covers the microphone and hinders my voice memo recordings for my class notes. I recommend another brand for now if at all possible until zagg fixes that issue. I would give a higher rating because of overall protection but because it hinders my schoolwork, its a 2 star.

Ive worked at bestbut for a while and always have purchased a screen protector from Zagg for every item i have - from my iPads to iPhones to my apple watch, they have all been amazing, however this screen protector has one major flaw. The microphone is covered and the protector lacks a proper cutout for the FaceID module and microphone located on the left middle of the iPad. This leads to poor microphone quality, and and underwater effect when recording. I plan on returning unless they fix this issue for those that purchased pre-fix, until then i will be stuck with one less microphone. Zagg needs to fix this issue.

This Protection Glass is good for my I pad . It's very hard and smooth . When it put on my i pad littele heavy . But it is very good and they put on my i pad well. I recommended for everyone.

This shield works great. I’m convinced anyone complaining about the microphone are covering the other mic on the device, because immediately after installing this shield I tested it out with both Siri commands and a 2-hour facetime call with family, both of which worked fine. My family said they could hear me perfectly clearly. So for me, the full coverage is worth it as this does not otherwise impede usage. The second thing to keep in mind is this may affect Face ID TEMPORARILY. You may notice adhesive bubbles under the protector for a few days after install, this is NORMAL. It may make your front camera a little fuzzy for a day or two, preventing Face ID from registering. Give it a couple days and re-register your Face ID if it’s still not working. I am now a few days into ownership using this screen protector and I have full functionality. So there you have it, patience and expectations will save you from being immediately frustrated with this screen protector and you’ll get to enjoy its full glass coverage unlike other options.

Face ID works perfectly and quickly even with the screen protector on, have had no issues with it. Great quality and easy installation as expected with Zagg.

However, I’m docking a star due to a frustrating experience. Best Buy lists this as compatible with the iPad Pro M4, but it’s not—Face ID won’t work because this version lacks the required notch. I wasted over an hour troubleshooting Face ID on my brand-new iPad before discovering the issue online. What made it even more annoying is that I always like having a screen protector ready to go when I first unbox a device. Instead, I had to remove it and leave my iPad unprotected for a while until I could get the correct one. Thankfully, Best Buy was understanding and let me exchange it, even though it had already been applied. Just be aware—if you have an M4 iPad, make sure to get a version with a Face ID-compatible cutout.

Great screen protector, maintained the high quality of the display. What makes this a waste of money is how the Face ID does not work with this screen protector on. It goes over the camera and makes it to where the depth sensor dont work. They are equally as good screen protectors that make sure all of the ipad features countinue to work.

I haven’t had any issues with the screen protector at all! I draw constantly and there isn’t a scratch in sight. I will always trust Zagg when it comes to my electronics.

I bought my iPad from Best Buy a few months ago and haven’t put it down,yes I bought the extra warranty which insures me that I will have it for a long time to come

Frankly, I’ve never understood why people pay for expensive screen protectors when you can buy $10 ones on amazon. However, I wanted one day of and just went with what was in stock. Comparing this to my previous cheaper screens, I can understand the difference. This one applied much nicer and the quality feels higher. I also registered it on the website which will be nice if it breaks in the future.

This screen protector is excellent and really does blend in with the iPad. Once it is completely on the device it really is invisible and you almost can't tell there is a screen protector on the device. I wish there was a second screen protector in case of user error during installation, but overall it was not necessary because the installation was very easy compared to other screen protectors.

Love the oil resistant coating on it. reject the fingerprints really well. But i did have to adjust the touch sensitivity on the ipad a bit as the screen some times does not register a touch.

One of the main included features of the iPad Pro is FaceID, and this screen protector blocks it. Hinders microphone too. All around makes the iPad pro a regular ipad.

Several apps I use that require my speech input couldn’t hear my voice because the front microphone was completely covered by the screen protector glass. There was no hole or cutout in the screen for the mic. The Best Best employee who sold me and installed the protector should have known that since I explicitly told him my iPad Pro was a 2024 M4 model with the front camera and mic. I wasted several hours trying to debug what was wrong with my apps, when the whole time it was the screen protector that was at fault.

Great screen protector. I only use zagg these days.

I love that is edge to edge face id works perfectly no bubbles yes it does cover microphone but i dont used it
