Recently my Broan downdraft vent went belly up after 15+ years. I researched my options given the fact that I already had an island with a cutout in it and a Bosch electric cooktop installed as well. Well the Zephyr downdraft was the closest thing to a like for like replacement but it did need some minor venting changes. Now that it is in and working, I am very happy with its performance. It is powerful, quiet and unobtrusive. I am a happy camper.

So far everything works perfectly. Easy push button to activate down draft and there is a side dial to adjust fan speed. Still to new to discover any flaws yet

We were hesitant to purchase any downdraft fan. We had heard that most of them do not work very well. We were directed to this one by a friendly Best Buy employee, who recommended Zephyr brand. We are not disappointed!
