This is a replacement for a Brita. It looks fantastic, but the filters are very heavy, not to mention pricey. The pricey part is well worth the filtration. The heavy part can be a little too much. When the pitcher is full, it is quite heavy, and I don't think a child could lift it or an elderly person. I would go for a smaller one, maybe even the tumbler. Since I bought it my spouse will hardly ever fill it because of the weight..and he's a guy! The pitcher included a filter, but the directions for the meter are VERY unclear. There is actually a cap that fits over the part that goes in the water, but I unknowingly put the battery end in the water..and fried it.. That's where the Warrenty sucks. It does not cover the meter, even though the directions are terrible..So that is where the bag of rice, (which luckily I had on hand) came in.. You MUST take the battery compartment out and the lid and put all the parts in the rice separately..That's where the rice getting stuck in the groves comes in..Now that I have that problem solved, and I remember to fill the pitcher to only half full and pour it into a cup or something to reduce the weight, I think it's pretty good. Maybe the stainless steel part plays into the weight, but it's really the filter itself that is so big and heavy..

Perfect i love this filter. Seriously truly works and gives fresh waters. Top cap is flimsy i didn't really use it. But love this.

This is my second pitcher from Zero Water. The first one has lasted for several years, but it had a small piece of plastic where the water pours out that broke off. It still functions perfectly, but when I saw this new stainless steel pitcher, I couldn't resist. My family uses this daily. Tastes 1000 times better than the water that comes out of out filtered refrigerator door. Zero Water has a filtration system that can't be beat!

The filtration system has worked flawless and I am satisfied so far with the product. I am able to drink 8 glasses of water daily without refilling. I would recommend this product. The only thing I didn't like is the lid design. Could have been more ergonomically put together better.

The pitcher is nice looking as it is stainless steel and fits easily in refrigerator and the filter is easy to install

I was wondered if this Zero Water Filtration pitcher was a good choice and yes it is. You will drink an excellent quality water after use it.

I heard about this from a family member. I have a Brita filter but this filter system removes everything. I like the look and keep it filled in the fridge at all times.

I absolutely love my water filter I got it for Christmas and couldn't wait to use it. That's all I use now hands down love it!

The water very clean and taste very good. Only issue is the replacement filter cost as much as the original container so not economical.

I purchased this at the request of my girlfriend. She owns one herself so she thought that it would be a good buy. And she was definitely right. Up until I purchased this I was spending money on bottled water all month long. However, after buying this I haven't purchased anymore bottled water. I know that a lot of people talk about the clean taste of water but this is IT! Every cup is a refreshing taste of water. I thought people were crazy talking about how good water tastes but this here is IT! Great tasting water every time.

I do not like the smell or taste of chlorine in my drinking water. This removes it.

From what I can tell, it's great. The only downfall is the filtering takes a long time and fills up half the reservoir which takes a bit of time. I would recommend to a family member for sure

Downfall to these. Filter goes quick if you have a lot of stuff in your water. Serious down fall. But the water quality. Can't beat it. I purchased a pack of filters already for it but it's worth it since I'm cutting my plastic use way down.

I am not satisfied with the filtration pitcher. When full it's simply very heavy and cannot be handled by a children. A technical issue is that the meter (which is supposed to be anchored to the lid) keeps falling everytime you twist the lid (when you fill the pitcher for example and you take the lid off, you don't have to twist it, otherwise the meter will fall).

I live in Texas, I get about a month and a half out of the filters. It' does what it says it does which is great.

I bought this to reduce the water bottle problem that comes with drinking water that has less additives. This does the job and is a perfect solution. It also has the meter to prove the point.

Love the easy-to-handle size of this 8-Cup ZeroWater Filtration Pitcher; not too big and heavy. I also love the color combination; goes well with all of my kitchen appliances.

We got this to replace our old Zero Water pitcher. They work Great.
