Works great good sound easy to set up. Remote works good to change features. Accu voice does not chang sound enough on high pitched women’s voices so I can understand them.

I have tried at least 7 different sound bars and none did what they claimed. This one does everything and it does it very well. I am old and have a hard time hearing the vocal parts of movies. With the ACCU voice on this soundbase, that is no longer a problem. It is very easy to set up and you can operate it with your TV remote control. My Directv remote works great with it. You will love this soundbase. If there is any negative, is that it is large and a little heavy. It measures 18" Deep X 42" Long X 3 1/2" High. So you will need a good size table top to place it onto. This is a small problem considering how happy you will be with the sound system!! I recommend it highly!

PROS: SOUND QUALITY: This is a simple sound-base that offers excellent sound, and surprisingly well thought out features. The deep box offers full well detailed sounding sub-woofers. The remote control is very simple but well designed offering easy quick adjustments depending on the source. The Accuvoice feature for example lets you instantly hear dialogue or news reporters much easier with a press of a button. The surround sound adjustment lets movies fill up a room. The ‘digital leveling’ button is very useful as content sources generally vary the clarity of the sound quality and volume levels a lot, and turning this feature on or off really improves the clarity between the voice and sound and music background levels with the press of a button. DESIGN: I bought the Zvox 770 sound-base so that I could put a big 65 inch Tv onto a 48 inch wide Nelson bench in the corner of my living room. The 16 1/2 inch deep x 42 inch wide by 3 inch high box construction is very sturdy, so it can easily hold the weight of a very large Tv. As a sound-base, it takes up a lot less real estate than a sound-bar with a separate sub-woofer, and avoids the issue of blocking the front of the Tv screen. CONNECTION: No HDMI. It only offers a simple digital optical connection, but it works perfectly. Digital optical cable included. TECH SUPPORT: Very knowledable, friendly, helpful tech support is just a phone call away. When I called them twice before I bought it to ask questions, I felt this is not a giant impersonal company, but people who care about customer satisfaction and are happy to assist. CONS: I tried connecting my iPhone via Blutooth and found I had to literally rest the phone on the Zvox box before I could get a solid connection. SUMMARY: I really like Zvox 770 because it is well made, offers very good features at a very competitive price, takes up less room than sound-bars with separate subwoofers - all while delivering terrific sound for a Tv, or stereo music that fills a large room.

I tried about 5 different brands of sound bars and bases before i settled on the ZVOX. I tried Vizio, Yamaha, Sony, Polk Audio and Bose. I ended up taking each one back because i simply could not make out much of the dialogue on certain movies, broadcasts and CDs. For each sound bar i tried i compared them using the same sound sources. I got very discouraged until i ran into a Best Buy sales rep for the Magnolia line of products and he recommended the ZVOX and basically guaranteed that it would work for me. As it turned out, it does a great job with dialogue and very good job with the rest of the sound frequencies. You don't get the separation that you get from 5.1 systems with rear speakers and a separate sub-woofer, but overall it turned out to be superior to the other systems i tried. I tried 2.1, 3.1, 4.1 and 5.1 systems and this turned out to be the best. It is a very nicely constructed product, supports a large tv and the controls are simple. The set up was easy. I have had no problems with this unit. I highly recommend it.

Fills the room with high quality sound especially the low frequencies. Accu voice makes the dialogue from TV shows and movies much more intelligible. Nice feature is the capability to have input from multiple sources including blue tooth.The optical cable provided by Zvox would not fit into the ports on my TV and Blu-Ray player. Had to purchase a separate one. Also had problems discontinuing the linkage of the sound base remote with the cable remote. Customer service was no help. I finally figured it out on my own.

zvox by far has the best or should I say BEAST of the best sound around. classified as a Sound bar, it's more of a sound box with good bass to boot. You donot need a sub-woofer to this set up. I own 2 Zvox systems both are outstanding and only takes 10 mins. to set up.

This sound bar had so much good bass coming from it, I had to check to make sure my 1000 watt Velodyne sub was off when testing the product, it truly fooled me. Good highs, decent midrange in average size room. Wasn't enough sound bar for my excessively large theater room, but it is a lot of sound for the price range. Good buy!

My husband can hear words on television. We can adjust the music level, which means he can understand the words being spoken on programs

Easy to connect...accuvoice is a 10!!...wanted a little more highs/treble...mids and base are perfect...sits right under tv...stable enough for my 65 in.easily...recommended...just ONE piece...plug and go!!!

Easy to install and great sound even without a remote subwoofer. Since the tv sits on top of it, it doesn't obstruct your view of the screen.

First one had to be replaced due to malfunction in interior sensor, but now the sound is wonderful!! Would buy again.

Zvox has really made a difference in watching TV as you can hear every word, every sound that is being presented. I would reccomend this sound box to anyone hard of hearing or likes to really get into the sounds of either the movie or TV series.

You get older and dialog becomes difficult despite a decent sound system. You like backing up in an attempt to hear? No fear.... buy the zvox. It works for the hearing impaired

Kind of disappointed, thought would be more powerful.

We mostly listen to movies and TV, so this system is perfect for us. The design is unobtrusive and it really crisps dialogue.

I am severely deaf in my right ear and moderately deaf in my left. ZVOX has a setting named "ACCU." It really defines the edges of dialogue making it much easier for me to watch and HEAR programs. I am so very glad I purchased this. Plus, my husband is a musician, and he loves the bass that is produced by this ZVOX soundbar.

The soundbar fits perfectly under my 50” tv. It looks good and sounds better.
