Love this laptop. I’ve worked with computers for over 30 years. Never actually bought a new laptop, as I’ve always been given used ones from various places. But knew my lattitude was getting tired. And the processor isn’t going to be supported on windows 11. A few months back, I started a business that made a 2 in 1 a very good option. I use my computers (I have several, but one primary personal laptop) heavier than most people. And as a result, they get beat up. Broke the camera a while ago from a drop. But I broke the lcd, and knew that was the end of the line. Considered new latitudes, but they were just too expensive. Considered a used one off eBay, but I’ve been burned way too many times. And I really needed one sooner than later. I’ve used Lenovos (formerly ibm) laptops many times. Knew they tend to be quality devices. Did a ton of research and picked this one. I bought the fully loaded one since you can’t add memory later. I generally stick with intel processor’s. But AMDa epyc server processors are phenomenal. And not too long ago, I built a budget gaming machine for a friend. I used an AMD on it, and it really blew me away. AMD has really grown up over the years. This laptop is amazing. I just updated to the beta of windows 11 earlier this week. Runs like a champ. The touchscreen rocks. Drawing on it is awesome. And for engineers, it can run several virtual machines in VMware workstation. This may be the best kept secret out there. No docking station ability. But I don’t need that on a personal laptop. I think as a CCIE, MCITP, PCNSE, I’m qualified to give you this feedback. I rarely offer up reviews. But this one is worth the time.

This is pretty great little unit. I'm just gonna start listing stuff randomly as it comes to me. Good stuff: - Long battery life. I haven't run it until dead but it does way better than most laptops I've had. My other device is a Mac Book Air (2020 i7) and it is on par with it. - The WiFi does seem to take a while to hook up which is slightly annoying but speed and stability of it is great. - The SSD (a WDC unit I believe) is satisfactorily quick and I'm never waiting on it to load anything. - I love the 2-in-1 flip over and use it that way regularly. - The fingerprint reader is near instant. - Love the weight and size. - Fabric top is really nice. One less place to collect finger prints. - Keyboard is fairly nice to type on. - I like the touchpad, it ain't no MacBook touchpad, but it is pretty decent. - USB-C charging is a winner. This girl does not like low power supplies but having a single charger for phones and laptops is really nice. - Sturdy chassis. No So Good: - Glossy screen is a bummer, not sure if that is required for touch or not. Shows finger prints something fierce. - Headphone jack is awful. Sound is so muffled. Same headphones (Bowers and Wilkins, decent) via a USB-C adapter and it is a different world in sound quality. Bluetooth does better also so it is the port. - Speakers just barely get the job done. Better for spoken content than music. - Can get hot on the bottom. - Not as bright as I'd like in normal rooms. Basically run it at 90+ brightness. Could be much better.

I love this little laptop. It has all the power i need and a surprisingly decent APU for a computer not meant for gaming. This thing boots in 4.3 seconds. I love that you can use it as a tablet as well. It is perfect for reading my textbooks while lounging and drinking my coffee. The battery life is decent as well. I studied for 8 hours straight and still had 54% battery left. The fabric cover is a nice touch. It looks and feels cozy. WiFi 6 is amazing. Downloads are surprisingly fast (when downloading from most servers). Great purchase. The screen size is a bit smaller but the performance makes up for it. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck. To upgrade to a 14 or larger screen at this price point comes with a major hit to performance. Again, this was a great purchase.
