Bottles Six Months Past Expiration Date...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered Dec 2016 and received bottles that had a Do Not Use After 05/2016 expiration date. Packaging also looked beat up.

You always need more Soda Stream Bottles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soda Stream is so much fun with friends and family. Everyone loves the extra bubbles, except young children, they don't like too much fizz. With this two pack, you'll save over the single bottle price and you'll be able to have more flavors chilled and ready to serve. Since Soda Stream works best cold, it's always good to have extra bottles of plain water in the fridge. Make sure to check the expiration dates of the bottles, they are only rated safe for certain number of years.

Essential to make sodastream
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to buy these to replace my existing Soda Stream bottles. Not sure why but all the bottles have an expiration date and my originals were already a year over the expiration. Maybe the plastic degrades? Either way these bottles are fine and well made.

Easy to set up, easy to use, Love the carbonation.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like adding my own flavors, such as fruit juices. The Soda Stream carbonation system makes it very easy to drink more water without making a mess with the flavors. It occupies a small footprint on my counter and I can flavor as little or as much water as I please. I bought a couple of extra carbonation bottles and only flavor as much as I'm going to use at one time. I keep extra carbonated water in the fridge to drink as is or to put into my mug with the flavor du jour. I do like the flavors that came with the unit, and am trying out some simple recipes for root beer and ginger ale. I have had the unit for over a month and am still using the original CO2 cannister.

perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since these bottles are sort of small I needed more to put in my fridge for different types of flavors. I like that these come in a 2 pack and are dishwasher safe.

A wonderful replacement set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I lost the cap piece to the bottle from the original set which rendered the bottle useless. I'm glad two came in the pack. I'm tired of Cola.

Q: QuestionWhat is the expiration date on these bottles? I don't know why - but the bottles actually have expiration dates - therefore, if the bottles' expiration date is November, it's not such a great deal! I hope you can tell me the date!! :D phyllis
Asked by Phyllis.
- A:Answer The ones I just received were six months PAST the expiration date. Bottles say do not use after 05/2016 and I ordered them in Dec 2016.

Q: QuestionWhy do the soda stream bottles have expiration dates?
Asked by Nana.
- A:Answer Soda Stream is legally protecting themselves, because we are pressurizing a plastic bottle with their name on it. I have been using the same bottle for years. It's dated 5/2016 and I use it at least three times a week without issue. Of course in my house food expiration dates are just a suggestion. We had a bottle of maple syrup in the refrigerator that had expired several years ago, until one day it was finally consumed. If it looks good, smells good, and tastes good . . . it's good. We're still alive.

Q: QuestionWhat is the expiration date on this product.
Asked by fmcd2010.
- A:Answer I believe it's two years from when you put the bottle in use. But, like many foods, expiration dates are just advisory. I used my last Sodastream bottles for six years and recycled them only when they started to "fog", sort of like old car headlight lamps do.
