This addition to my keychain allows me to remotely start my car from inside the house or on the way out from a store.

I went with this remote because I hate recharging rechargeable batteries all the time. Being a 1-way remote it does not give you feedback when the car is locked and unlocked. In other words it is like a normal car key fob. Tip: if the remote will make a beep if you pressed it correctly. Here are the pairing directions from the back transcribed by google lens :::: 1-Way Remote Control The following routine is used to pair this remote to a compatible system. Prepare the vehicle system to be Paired with a new remote 1. Open at least one vehicle door. 2. Turn the key to the ON position. 3. Within 5 seconds press and release the Control button on the Control Center one time. 4. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Control button on the Control Center. The status LED begins flashing in single flash sequence and the siren or horn (if connected) sounds once to confirm the system is ready for remote pairing. Release the button. Pair the remote control with the system: 1. Press and hold the (F) button for 8 seconds. The transmit LED will come on solid. Release the f button. 2. Press and hold the (circle arrow) button until the transmit LED flashes 3 times then comes on solid. 3. Press the (LOCK) button. 4. Wait several seconds for feedback as the remote generates a security encryption and sends it to the Control Center. If pairing is successful, the siren or horn sounds, turn off the vehicle key to exit vehicle pairing. If pairing is not successful press and release the (F) button once and then repeat steps 2 & 3. To exit pairing mode on the remote: Press and release the (F) button once, then press and hold until the transmit LED shuts off or wait 30 seconds without pressing a button.

It has a remote start and I can turn my car on so it can cool of before I entry the battery in the control last a long time
