Have your new mono or 2-channel amplifier installed neatly, reliably and professionally by a Geek Squad Autotech. Our Autotechs workmanship is warrantied for life. Plus, if you ever sell your vehicle we'll reinstall your factory amplifier for free. Additional materials fees apply; see below for more details.*
Preparing your vehicle
We'll go through a preinstallation checklist so we can return your vehicle in the same condition as when you dropped it off.
Factory-installed look and functionality
We'll connect your control interface to the proper circuits, complete any required programming and/or flashing, and mount and conceal the control module for a professional look.
To finish, we'll perform a postinstallation checklist, vacuum the work area, and give you a demonstration of the control interface's features.
How to redeem and schedule your installation:
After ordering, you'll get a redemption e-mail containing a key code that validates your order. Find your nearest installation center and call to schedule an appointment.
What to bring to your installation appointment:
Bring a printout of your redemption e-mail, the amplifier you want installed, and any other parts you may have purchased for the installation.
*Standard installation does not include vehicle-specific parts or accessories. For amplifier installation, the cost of parts will vary. Such parts and any additional parts or extensive labor are extra.
Your Geek Squad Autotech will provide an estimate prior to performing work that requires an additional charge (including nonstandard installation) and any additional parts. Any additional charges will be assessed after the installation is complete.
Extremely professional installation, the guy who installed it, went through a step by step process of how he was gonna do things and let me know if there was any problems with the setup, I was supposed to have 2 subs installed but it barely didn’t fit and he got me the next nest option and got all the things fixed, paperwork-wise, I’m so happy with how it went
The entire installation process was a challenge. After waiting a month to get in I had higher expectations. Parts for the entire installation were defective. We discussed the placement of items which were changed when I picked up my vehicle. Holes drilled and things installed in places not authorized or discussed. Lots of problems with the equipment (cameras). After I get out of the parking lot two of my speakers (not new) are blown. Good luck getting in touch with anyone to fix the speakers.
A:AnswerThey did with me. I brought along an amp wiring kit that was a lot less expensive than what they would've used and just told them to use that. They even gave me back parts that they didn't use.
A:AnswerThat depends if you have a factory amplifier or not. If you don't then yes you can tap into any one of your speakers. If you do have a factory amp, you have to tap into the speaker wires before the factory amplifier. Otherwise there's a mix-up between signals.
A:AnswerDepending on how the wiring goes for the JBL GT BassProl2, you should be looking at $99.99 for the amp installation fee, $5 materials charge fee, and if it is being attached to the factory radio there could be a custom labor charge assessed. It sounds like you're ready to go with all the parts, so please speak with your local Autotech to schedule your appointment today!
A:AnswerOh my God dude, stop what you're doing right now! You can't just talk cut RCA wires and hook to speaker inputs Because speaker inputs are considered high level and RCA is NOT! I suggest looking into buying a high level input converter, unless of course you wanna blow up your amp wreck other electrical things and maybe even start a fire!!!
A:AnswerYes! Best Buy will and can install all aspects of you car audio. They professionally installed into my 2002 Fird Focus a Pioneer Screen, (4) 6x8 door speakers, remote Starr with alarm, two cameras (1) reverse and (1) in front, (1) mono amp, (1) four channel amp and one Sub Woffer. The install bay in Gurnee is the best I have dealt with. I live in Chicago but go to them for their service and expertise.
