The product is pretty good, just wish Best Buy would allow more customization. The Apple Store gives you the ability to add a track pad and additional ram. You can’t do it at Best Buy they only have a few different preconfigurations. The iMac is fast and quiet and recommend the product but if you want to customize it go to Apple.
We bought this to replace our 2012 Mac Mini that was no longer receiving updates but otherwise worked well. This iMac is a speed demon for everyday tasks. TouchID is great for purchases and quick logins. The display is better than any regular one you can buy under $700. In the pic, you can see reflections that look purple, but when the display is on, we never get a glare.
We also appreciate that the keyboard and mouse are rechargeable. We’re over 1 month in and still not in need of a recharge. Our old Magic Mouse would use 2 batteries every week if left on.
We’re supplementing the onboard storage with a 2TB SSD drive to hold our photo libraries. This makes the relatively small 512GB that came with it workable for us. If you have big photo libraries, research how to move them to an external drive and save the money. Just make sure it’s a fast SSD.
Absolutely love it. Don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence. I was going from a 2015 MacBook Air to this. The screen size/ clarity is comparatively amazing. So far I love this computer. Just wish Best Buy had given me the option to purchase it with the matching green magic track pad
I have never been a Mac person, but I happened to inherit an old iMac and fell in love with the sleek design and large beautiful screen. When it got too outdated to run old programs I decided to take the plunge and replace it with the newest version. It runs so smoothly and has that same beautiful large display screen. I love it!
This iMac replaces a 2009 27” iMac. The smaller screen has less glare and more clarity. The new machine, once the cloud loads are complete and passwords established, is amazingly quick. Zoom and FaceTime enhanced by camera and mic. Navigation very similar to old (and no longer upgradeable) OS and closer to iPad capability. Able to use my old track pad - $125 buys a lot of batteries. Notable changes include no disc or camera card interface so media needs to load through Bluetooth, online or separate peripherals. Fingerprint recognition on keyboard just OK.
Two Macs ago, I had a 24" desktop. When it was time for a new one, I wanted the exact same one -but they didn't make it any longer. I had to go to 27", which, while I got used to it, was just too big and tall for my desk (hit an above desk bookshelf). It was unnecessarily big. I also found myself looking up to see the screen all of the time - super bad for your neck.
5 years later, I went back in, and the 24" was back. Gorgeous screen, perfect size - I can still look at three docs across my screen, which is important for me. I use photoshop extensively, and it's great for that. It's super fast and reliable with data and spreadsheets. I am VERY happy.

APPLE IMAC M1 REVIEW: THE ALL-IN-ONE FOR ALMOST EVERYONE
This is an iMac unlike any other iMac we've seen before, and it all comes down to the M1 chip. Sure, there are some other differences between this 24-inch iMac and the 21.5-inch model from 2019 that it's replacing. There are better microphones andFull Review

Apple iMac 24-Inch Review
The original Apple iMac, launched at the end of the last millennium, is the archetype for the modern all-in-one desktop computer. The most recognizable of all Mac desktops, its luster nevertheless diminished over the past two decades as it becameFull Review
A:AnswerYou will need an external device. The new iMac trades off some of its all in one appeal for a sleek profile.. Best Buy will be happy to sell you the product under $80 which shoes up as a recommended add to your purchase.
A:AnswerUnfortunately, Best Buy does NOT price match Apple's Education Pricing. It's explicitly stated in their price match policy and I've tried before in the past with no success. You may have success if you price match at the store and the manager is in a good mood, but if you go through phone or online chat channels, they will not price match for you. Education Pricing would be directly through Apple.
A:AnswerThis particular Mac DOES have an ethernet and ONLY has 4 thunderbolt ports ... there are NO other ports but an adapter can be purchased (see product attached) to add those ports. There is a headphone jack that is built in on the side of the monitor. Hope that helps.
