I think they expect everyone will attach these to the wall. The screw holes on the base are SLIGHTLY misaligned, making it VERY hard to screw and secure properly. I did the best I could. (And came VERY close to returning it.) The price is right if you don't care about the details. I am recommending based on price and picture quality.

Setting it up was simple, it's light and there is still ample space on my dresser for other things. Pictures look great and the sound is just what I need. I am very pleased with my purchase! The DVD player is a plus - one less device to attach to the TV. Easy to use and the picture/sound quality is good. It's not your home theater quality but it's great for our purpose. The size is perfect for a bedroom or a garage. It's new and we haven't experienced any problems. Set up was easy - especially the channel search if you don't have cable or satellite connection.

Plus, if you have kids it's not something you would feel bad if it accidentally got busted! Let's face it things do happen and I would rather it be something material then something or someone important. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Q: QuestionHow do I change screen aspect ratio?When I play a DVD, the screen seems too small because it chops off various writing, like sub titles etc. both from bottom as well a side to side. The same DVD plays just fine thru my computer.
