I love these lights. I've been gradually replacing all of the incandescents in my house with these. They are as bright or maybe just a little brighter than the 40 watt reveal bulbs they are replacing and they run much cooler (especially important during the summer months in Georgia). The have a very natural daylight color (unlike some others that have a greenish tint). I was concerned about the evenness of the light output due to the heat sinks casting shadows, but this is only a problem within about 6 inches of the bulb. After that there are no shadows. My only gripe is a very faint hum, which is sligtly louder when partially dimmed. If there is any other noise nearby, you cannot hear it - the fan in the air conditioning, the refrigerator, even the TV box are all louder.

When I picked these up they were so inexpensive compared to other brands I couldn't resist. Color and brightness are good, I was worried they would be too dim. So far I have been completely satisfied with these bulbs.

I'm trying to replace all the bulbs I can with energy efficient one. I like the LED ones because they're less toxic than the florescent ones, and last longer. This one went into a lamp we keep on most of the time, and will save us its cost over its life-time. It comes on quickly and is bright enough for an accent lamp, which is what we wanted. As they come down in price, and when they're on sale, I'll be getting more of them.

Customers frequently mention the 450-Lumen LED Light Bulb's brightness, energy efficiency, and safety features. Many customers appreciate the warm natural light it provides, while others highlight its low energy consumption compared to traditional bulbs. Some customers also feel that LED bulbs are safer than coil bulbs. However, a few customers have noted a buzzing sound, even when the bulb is not on a dimmer switch.
