Synopsis

Barclay's Big Adventure
Fairy King of Ar
Corbin Bernsen and Malcolm McDowell star in an enchanting tale of fairies and giants that the whole family will enjoy. Since as far back as Kyle and Evie Preston can remember, their grandmother told fantastical tales about elves who had been trapped underground by giants for thousands of years. Now grandmother is gone, and the siblings are surprised to discover that they have inherited a decrepit gold mine and a family home they never even knew existed. Upon discovering that grandmother's far fetched stories have a bizarre basis in reality and that by freeing the fairies from the mine they will discover a cure for their terminally ill father (Bernsen), Kyle and Evie race against time to free the trapped fairies and save their father's life. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Chihuahua: The Movie
An ill-tempered woman gets a new outlook on life after being transformed into a Chihuahua, and realizing just how unpleasant she truly is to be around. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Seeker & Fetch
Everyone Loves Mel
Joey Travolta directed this comedy-drama for the family. Two children from the city spend the summer at their grandfather's ranch where they make a new friend -- Mel, grandpa's giant turtle who can do tricks and loves pancakes. But while Grandfather and the kids are all very attached to Mel, one of his neighbors is opening a theme park and wants Mel as their official mascot ; he's willing even to steal him if Grandfather won't turn him over willingly. Julia Hagerty, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Scalia, and Greg Evigan star. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

My Uncle: The Alien
When the President's socially conscious daughter is abducted while working to rescue a children's shelter, a mysterious, friendly alien she calls Uncle appears and rescues her. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Nico the Unicorn
Based on the popular novel for young adults by Frank Sacks, this heart-warming drama concerns Billy Hastings (Kevin Zegers), an 11-year-old boy whose life is shattered after his leg is permanently damaged by a drunk driver. Billy and his mother Julie (Anne Archer) move to a new town in hopes of escaping the bad memories of the accident. Not long after they arrive, they visit a threadbare circus, where they discover a neglected horse. Feeling sorry for the animal, they arrange to take it home, only to discover that the horse is pregnant. That's the least of their surprises, though; the horse shortly gives birth to a unicorn, which appears to have magical powers. Nico the Unicorn also stars Michael Ontkean. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Picture Perfect
In this spirited comedy, a pair of neighboring teens, anxious to win a big prize in a soda-pop company's contest, fabricate the "perfect family" by making it seem as if their parents (who despise each other) are married. Complications arise when they are chosen as the winners, and the head of the company informs them that he will be staying a week with them. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
