Most of us have lived the life of poverty & have either brought ourselves out of it or still live on the fringes of it, this movie is so true in its form of how to trust in yourself & the family you have no matter how hard it is at first & keep fighting when life hands you blow after blow & how family comes together to achieve their ultimate goals & to keep moving forward no matter what & to see how a community had come together to help them out, this is truly an amazing movie.

I have watched this movie over and over and can never be tired of it. Kathy Bates has a wonderful role in this film and it shows the struggles of being a single mother. I love it.

I have seen this movie a few times a long time ago. Wanted kids to see it to help teach them to appreciate what we have to see how hard life can be sometimes. Eye opening.
