A Map of the World [DVD] [1999]

Based on Jane Hamilton's best-selling novel, this tragic tale of loss and acceptance arrives on DVD in fine form thanks to USA Home Entertainment. The anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 image (enhanced for 16 x 9 TVs) is accompanied by closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Surround Audio. Though a fairly bare-bones disc in regard to extra features, there is a theatrical trailer and a featurette offering insight into the origins and production of this melancholy, moving film.
