Mad Season is definitely a super group. Made up of Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees. Layne Staley had one of the best vocals in rock. Gone way too soon. This CD has very haunting lyrics about addictions. Mike McCready(Pearl Jam/guitar) thought it would be a good idea for Layne Staley to be around sober people/musicians so he formed this group. It also features Barrett Martin on drums and John Baker Saunders on bass and bonus vocals by Mark Lanegan. The black and white cover was done by Layne Staley and is of himself and his then girlfriend. This is a must in your collection.

Prior to purchasing this I already had the original version in my collection that I bought back in 1995. This one of my favorite records of all time and captures the essence of grunge music in Seattle in the 90's. I would've bought this record just for the Live at the Moore CD and DVD alone but the previously unreleased music is great especially the new single Locamotive. I think my favorite track is the remake of John Lennon's I don't wanna be a Soldier.

As a Layne Staley fan, this CD/DVD is the perfect addition to any library. You can enjoy this great concert at home or on the road. Best if played at a minimum of 120 dB's!!! Lose your hearing to the concert that rocked Seattle!!! It will the greatest and last thing your will ever hear... I SAID IT WILL BE THE GREATEST AND LAST THING YOU WILL EVER HEAR!!!

I friend of mind let me listen to this. His cd skipped really bad, but what i could tell this was solid album. So I picked up a copy for myself. WOW! could not be happier. Reminds me of Alice in chains and the live disc thats included. Enough said. Do yourself a favor get this you will love it.

Love this album, and getting the original album along with a dvd and live tracks is great. Considering this was the bands only album, it was nice for fans to have some extra material to enjoy.

I'm usually not a big fan of remasters but in this case it was great. The addition of the unfinished tracks along with the liner notes is a great tribute to a someone who was lost before his time.

This 1 time collaboration is a very good collection of music. The added songs and live performances that are included make this a must have for anyone who is a fan of Layne Staley's voice
