I’ve been using the Acer Predator XB273K for gaming, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The 4K resolution combined with the 144Hz refresh rate delivers stunning visuals and buttery-smooth gameplay. Colors are vibrant, and the details in every game really pop. I mainly use it with my PS5, and I feel like I’m getting the most out of my console. The monitor’s design is sleek and solid, and setting it up was a breeze. If you’re serious about gaming, this monitor is a game-changer. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience!

Overall the monitor works as advertised. I think the settings are sort of useless and don’t offer anything close to what the HDR setting does. They are actually really terrible. With that said I am only using to game on Xbox Series S, so expectations were low to start. Lots of heat coming off the monitor which sort of bothers me. Again for the price point and what I use it for it will suffice.

The picture quality is excellent, and the motion is very smooth at high refresh rates. I was able to enable 160 Hz refresh rate in Windows 10, with either HDMI or DisplayPort (I tried both, and both worked). Two things to note: 1, the built-in speakers are pretty underwhelming, and the stereo sound has very little distinction between the left and right channels. I think it's because the speakers are on the back of the monitor, so it also muffles the sound a bit. So I have to use my dedicated speakers for audio instead. I didn't buy the monitor for audio, so it doesn't affect my rating, but I thought it worth mentioning. 2, the monitor stand is pretty nice, with a spring loaded adustable height and orientation. However, the base is a fairly large, weird tripod, which looks cool, but somewhat limits how close you can place the monitor to the back or side edges of the desk.
