Easy setup basically just plug and play. I run dual monitors a XB270HU and a XB271HU don't need the stands use a dual monitor single pole desk mount it which leaves much more working space on desk. I set both at 144hz refresh rate. My video card is an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW. Can't ask for more gaming graphics and performance are great.

First off, this YouTube video is very helpful and explains everything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eBPqfD1tgA Overall Thoughts: The Acer Predator XB271HU is an amazing 1440p gaming monitor. I bought this monitor on sale for $679 dollars and it usually retails for $799 so it was a great deal. The monitor has a refresh rate of 165hz once overclocked in the menu with 4ms response time, and it has the g-sync technology which helps with eliminating screen tearing while gaming, and lastly its an IPS monitor. IPS monitors have great color accuracy where the colors will stay consistent when viewed from different angles. IPS monitors also have great color reproduction and the colors look very crisp and beautiful. I really really like how there was basically no backlight bleeding. There was just a tiny tiny bit not 98% backlight bleeding free which is incredible! The ASUS PG279Q had a bit of backlight bleeding and ASUS is also known for having a bit of backlight bleeding on some of their monitors. This is not a huge deal if you like that monitor because you can swap it out for another one. The only thing that might be annoying is getting another one with a bit of backlight bleeding so you might have to keep swapping it out till you get a solid one. However you could also land a solid monitor on your first try. What really impressed me for the ACER XB271HU is them not having much of a reputation for backlight bleeding and when I purchased my first one, it was 98% backlight bleeding free. One question many of you might be asking is if you should buy the ACER XB271HU or the ASUS PG279Q. Personally, I have both so I will share my experience. As far as the specs and performance goes, both monitor are basically the same. There are only a couple of differences that separates them and one of them is the design. The ASUS PG279Q has RGB lighting that only lights up in red on the stand whereas the ACER XB271HU has two metal legs that are red. They both have a nice gamery look, its just personal preference on which one you like. The second thing that separates them is the backlight bleeding. The ASUS PG279Q is known to have backlight bleeding on some of their monitors whereas not too many of the ACER XB271HU monitors have backlight bleeding. This is not a huge deal but you just might have to swap it out until you get a solid one. Other than that, they are both pretty much the same. With all of that being said. I highly recommend the ACER XB271HU! Its a great 1440p gaming monitor for those wanting a 2K monitor with amazing specs. This is one of the few gaming monitors that not only is it an IPS monitor, but it has amazing specs such as 165hz refresh rate once overclocked, 4ms response time, and the g-sync technology which helps eliminate screen tearing while gaming.

I purchased this monitor because I was looking to move from 1080p to 1440p. So far, it has been an excellent choice! The colors on the Predator by ASUS are vibrant and deep. GSync helps smooth out frame rates when things get a little busy on the screen. The brightness of the IPS screen is fantastic - next to my old 23" 1080p LED you can notice a huge difference in clarity and sharpness. Build quality on the monitor is fantastic - the stand is all metal and the monitor doesn't shake or move around if you accidentally bump your desk. Some people complain about the light bleed, but on mine I don't see anything that detracts from the picture. Overall a fantastic monitor - you definitely get what you pay for.
