This 2-in-1 seems like a great deal when you look at the specs vs the price. However, there are little things that really drag this product down. 1. The auto-retracting kickstand is loud. People will notice and hear it when you close the stand. The stand is also hard to pull out from the tablet (you have to grab it from the bottom corners). 2. The tablet portion is heavy. I owned a Surface 3 from 2015 and it felt much lighter than this 2017 laptop. 3. The fingerprint reader didn't even work and may have had an internal hardware issue. The driver was up to date but Windows Device Manager said something was wrong with the device. Hence, Windows Hello could not even be set up. The fact that this is an advertised feature made me realize how bad this laptop and how terrible Acer can be. How could something like this ship??? 4. The tablet cannot provide enough "juice" to use an external USB monitor. I was using a laptop from 2012 for the past 5 years and it could power the monitor without any issues.

The Switch has been a great laptop, especially for the price point. I use mine as a secondary mobile computer for email, internet, note taking, and traveling. Love everything about it except it is plagued with constant freezing up after startup since it was new. The machine will freeze ~5 minutes after startup and then stay frozen for 1-2 minutes. It then usually will work fine until the next time you startup or wake it from sleep.
