Works great.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I installed the receiver in the garage for at 19 inch TV for my gym. Transmitting devise has no issue with the brink wall separating the two rooms. TV play flawless with no lacking. I can even use the cable remote that same as if I was in the kitchen. I have no complains so far and I had it for about a month now. I do wish it was a little cheaper but you can’t have everything.

Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros mentioned:Picture quality, Wireless optionWe need this for a rather strange application. Displaying projections on the walls of a theater, We needed to get the hdmi to a pretty far place away but it needed to look professional also, and this did it! I attached a picture just to show how clean it looked! Pricy but worth it! Don’t buy any other wireless hdmi we returned them all and got this, sometimes only the most expensive one works!

Nice product with some flaws
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis unit does get the job done, but every so often it seems to drop or lose the connection between transmitter and receiver for no apparent reason. The fix is to reboot both units (as others have mentioned, just rebooting one or the other simply does not work), and after a few minutes the units are up and running again. The other complaint is the IR transmission from the TV end is a bit slow compared to our box located upstairs but again not really a deal-breaker. We have Spectrum (formerly TWC) and use this Actiontec on our 2nd TV in our bedroom. It certainly saved me from figuring out how to run a cable line when we switched bedrooms; drilling through concrete block was not very appealing) and for the convenience it's easy for us to overlook its somewhat finicky operation. Your mileage may vary, but we've been using this unit for almost a year and its still going. Not a bad investment.

Does the Job ! !
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Set upIt's a tad expensive but not if you consider the cost of other alternatives. (E.g. getting another cable box, running wire, drilling through walls, etc.etc.) The directions are fairly straightforward. I was confused as to where to place the IR blaster on the transmitter. There are photos attached as to how to do it correctly. Once i got it setup correctly, the remote in the bedroom controlled the cable box in the living room. Full 1080 HD 50 feet away through two walls.

Q: QuestionMust source tv be on for second tv to work.2nd tv has no signal unless tv at transmitter is turned on.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, only the cable-direct tv set top box must be on. This assumes you have used an HDMI cable to connect from the cable box to the Actiontec transmitter and then connected the transmitter to your tv. If you connect the cable box to the TV and the TV to the transmitter, you may then need to have the TV on.

Q: QuestionCan you watch two different shows one on the transmitter TV and the other on the receiver tv
Asked by Kat.
- A:Answer No, the show on the transmitter source (cable or satellite box) is sent to the receiver. The receiver is just running off the one box so whatever is selected will play on both TVs.

Q: QuestionI want to connect my TV to my Comcast Infinity cable box wirelesslyI want to mount my new HDMI 55 inch TV to one wall and have it connect wirelessly to my cable box that is mounted across the room. I have power to TV, but I cannot run cables to TV. Will this work on my Comcast cable box?
Asked by Bill.
- A:Answer It worked for me. I have my transmitter connected to a Comcast HD DVR box upstairs and the receiver is connected to a tv in the kitchen. No problems at all. Keep in mind that the receiver must be connected to the receiving tv, so you'll need to figure out how you want to do that, but the receiver/transmitter are both fairly small.
