OK, not easy to set up
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendTook a few days to figure out that it doesn't work so well with other wireless components in the house. I have to remove my printer to offset a conflict. When you plug it in, the device automatically changes your input on your television. (Pretty nice). But if you want to switch to another input such as your TV programming, it will switch it right back automatically. Have to unplug the receiver to stop that. Now for distance, this device is great if you are in a big room. Another thing my son has found that you don't want to use this to play a game on a big screen TV. There is a second or 2 delay and you toon will get killed if you aren't watching your game on your main computer screen. Hope that answer a question for you gamers out there.

Cool product but took work to setup
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWorks as advertised BUT you must have the latest graphic drivers installed for it to function. I tried using the installation instructions that came with it but it was worthless.. I had to do a lot of research and found out that you must have the latest graphic drivers to make it work. Once I got the drivers, everything worked like it should. Good display and sound. I do notice that you can't be more than 15 feet away.. If you do, signal gets bad. Overall, it's worth the money if you're really wanting to stream EVERYTHING from your laptop into your TV.

Works well enough
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendFor connecting older devices to an older TV, the device works well enough. Configuration was only a minor pain. Each device that needs to connect to the TV must install a software and have the transmitter plugged into a USB port. Newer Windows and Android (not Apple) devices that have built-in Wi-Di or other connecting technology can connect without the transmitter.

Excellent Product
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI have ScreenBeam connected to my 50 in Panasonic Plasma in our family room. Very simple to connect, they even included a very nice HDMI cable! I'm using two devices with ScreenBeam today. The first is my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (awesome#. Very easy use, just drag the menu from the top of the screen, tap wireless display, then select the ScreenBeam. Connects in seconds! Great full 1080p quality. I'm able to see my entire screen, watch movies, share my pictures, even play some games. Also works well with Hulu, Netflix, and other streaming video services. This is really convenient, and much faster than using the "smart tv".... plus unlike my media player I'm not limited... whatever I can see on my Galaxy, I can see on the TV! The other device is a new Dell Ultrabook running Windows 8.1. Once I figured out the "project to" feature, I was up and running. From Win 8.1, swipe from the right edge towards the center of the screen. The "charms menu" appears. Tap #or click# project to, wireless display, select screenbeam and voila! Again, very very crisp, clear graphics. almost no delay, I can even use my HDTV as a monitor, type, use my mouse, etc. Overall, I'd recommend this over media player devices. The fact is, between my laptop, and my Galaxy, both of these devices do exactly what I need. Now all I have to do is a few simple taps, and it's all on my HDTV....

Works well...
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI use this mostly with my desktop computer (HP Rove) to stream Netflix to my TV. It works very well with my PC, but it doesn't stay connected when using my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5).

It does just what I need it to do.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWe've had experience with these devices before at our church. Only problem I've had is one time the device didn't find my tv and I had to disconnect it from the power cord and reconnect it to get it to work.

It works but...
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friend..there is a lot of buffering. My desktop computer is less than 10 feet away from the device and the screen freezes on my tv. The buffering makes it annoying to watch movies beamed from my computer. It doesn't work well with my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. Audio works well. I'm slightly disappointed.

Q: QuestionSamsung HDTV say No Network ConnectionMy Samsung HDTV says No Network Connection. But the wireless works in the same room on all other equipment. I think the Samsung wireless receiver is broken. Can a wireless receiver plugged into the USB port solve the problem?
Asked by Nancy.
- A:Answer Don't think so. The USB port is for data transfer only, like a thumb drive containing pictures.
