Last year I received a canon t7 for Christmas as my interest grew in learning photography which I’ve always loved to take pictures of landscapes and such. I’m a beginner so it’s the perfect model to learn on. I won’t lie but it was challenging at first with learning the exposure triangle, aperture, focusing and learning manual mode. I was told, it’s the best way to start off even though it may be hard and challenging at first once all the information you understand the easier it is. My photos at first definitely needed some editing and more practice. As with time, they improved a lot as a beginner from more advanced photographers gave me feedback. as for photoshop and Lightroom, not very difficult to learn and use once you know what to edit what tools to use, etc. Years ago in high school, we did have a computer’s graphics class and it was taught to use photoshop and illustrator. I did forget a lot of stuff, with watching tutorials, searching online, reading some books on photoshop, Lightroom and photography. Things started to come back. I still need to learn more and great better at it. I enjoy it a lot. Before this I worked all the time and had no time for extra hobbies, and things that I did have hobbies with either I outgrew them, or just wasn’t interested enough anymore. This was something I always wanted to do. I practiced all of last year with taking photos of objects, my dog, landscapes, my Jeep wrangler, some I haven’t learned yet. I’m sad though this whole year I haven’t even touched my camera or edit any photos, are still in my computer that I never got to. With working full time and a lot of hours in my profession, unfortunately I didn’t have extra time and some days l was in a rut. I’m going to start up again, probably have to do a lot of reviewing and teach myself stuff again. It’s ok though. I don’t have any experience with portraits, people, night photography, long exposure or micro, macro and I’m sure there are many more. I will be renewing my subscription again and going to try to fit some time in again to take some photos. Winter is hard for me too as I don’t like being in the cold, I did see some gloves for photography that keep your finger out of glove. I am very happy and extremely excited I purchased this. I will post a few photos I have taken. My favorite are black and white photos in general any kind.

Overall ease of setting up the software was great. Lightroom CC is almost a requirement for today's modern DSLRs. Lightroom CC offers a link between camera and computer with most of the necessary features to catalog and do basic darkroom touchups. Photoshop CC takes the photos to the next level of manipulation to bring in almost total control of the finished project.

I contemplated doing an outright purchase of Adobe Light room instead of the subscription for Adobe LightRoom and Photoshop. I am glad I did the subscription. I get both for a very fair price and any updates are immediately available. I take a lot of photos in raw and jpg, and this combo is perfect for that. Light room is very easy to use once you get to know it. Photoshop is a lot but has everything I need and I don't mind having more than not having what I need. Another subscription plus is the mobile side of things. I can download my photos to my tablet which has Light room mobile on it and it will sync with my laptop. Lightroom mobile is included with the subscription and I would be lost without it now. You can use mobile lightroom to edit your photos and send to friends or whatever. You can even upload to the Creative Cloud if you want to and is included with the subscription. Lightroom mobile is a lite version of the full product but has a lot of features and is extremely easy to use. I love using it to do quick touchups and then send to my wife so she can share with her friends and family. I live that I can work with my photos on my camera using Lightroom on my laptop. Simply connect the camera to the laptop, launch light room and do your thing. Overall, I am very happy with the subscription and will definitely renew when the time comes. Oh and I don't have to hunt for my software CD/DVD anymore. Simply download with Creative Cloud manager and have fun.
