Sit back and let a Geek Squad Agent set up your VR, connect it to your home network and devices, and mount up to 2 sensors.

After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that contains a redemption code. You can then schedule your appointment by calling 1-800-GEEK SQUAD (1-800-433-5778). Please print your Geek Squad confirmation e-mail and be ready when the Agent arrives at your chosen location.

    Before we begin

    When we arrive at your home, we'll discuss the scope of work to ensure that services purchased meet your needs and expectations. If they don't, we'll recommend solutions.

    Check for compatibility

    We'll make sure your computer, operating system, and network meet VR requirements, help you create a user account, and download and install the VR software and driver updates you need.

    Connect your VR

    We’ll connect the VR headset, controller or remote, and ensure the area has enough space for operation. We’ll also place or wall-mount 1 or 2 sensors, up to 10’ above the floor, and route their cables.

    Download VR content

    We’ll setup and configure your VR per the manufacturer instructions and use your account or VR software to download demos and games. We can install 1 demo VR title, unless demo content comes with your software.

    Test your VR

    We’ll demonstrate how to use the new system and components, and let you know how to contact us for future support. During the initial calibration, we’ll be sure you’re wearing the headset for best results.

    Final steps

    We’ll verify that your VR is operating properly, answer any questions you may have, and provide solutions as needed.

    This service does not include computer or network setup or configuration except as specifically called out above. In-wall routing or other concealment of headset, sensor or other cabling are also not included.

    This service does not include installation of additional VR software or hardware and peripherals, or additional hardware needed to ensure proper connection between the VR system, computer, and display.

    Additional charges may be required for land travel beyond installation coverage areas. Service returns cannot be accepted after installation services are completed.
