Great for people with hearing aids!
|Posted .My daughter has bilateral hearing aids. We can use the ear buds but didn’t want to do that as they then wouldn’t pick up surrounding conversations. We got these bone connection headphones and she can hear her music or the tv and still hear me when I call for her or have a conversation about the show. They we’re slightly big so we returned these and got two sets of the mini size. One for her and one for me (I have lots of earrings which make ear buds impossible). Love these!!!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Have hearing loss recently several hearing test run but have not purchased a hearing aid as of yet. My problem in communication has been with the cell phone and since all the hearing loss I have recently had trouble in hearing on my cell phone. I researched the web and found that I was not to use any thing inside my ear it would make the problem worse. But what I read said that I could use a "Wireless Bone Conduction Ear Headset to hear on my cell phone and what ever device that took a Bluetooth. The answer for me was a AfterShokz Titanium Wirless Bone Conduction-open Ear Headpnones. I have only had it for a month Love it, works great with my LG I also bought at Best Buy

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5I really like the tech. The only issue I have is that when wearing them they rest on the back of my ears. After just a little time of wearing my ears start to feel some discomfort. I have to keep adjusting them. I love the fact I can wear them with ear plugs and they sound even better when my ears are plugged. They also allow me to hear people talking to me while I'm wearing them.

Amazing product!!!
Posted .Pros mentioned:Listening to musicI purchased the mini version for my daughter for her birthday. She is 5 and was born with bilateral artesia. Basically meaning she has no ear canals. Traditional headphones whether being inner ear or over the head will not work for her because there is no passage for sound to get through her ears. She loves watching her tablet but for her to hear it even with her hearing aids she has to have the volume very loud and it hurts everyone's ears so we make her turn it down. When we hooked up her aftershokz for the first time and connected them to her tablet she wasn't phased. Then as soon as I put them on her head and she realized what was going on she started crying. She wanted to listen to music and dance she was so excited. Her teachers at school think the will come in handy later on when she gets to the age of using computers. I'm so grateful for today's technology and knowing that my daughter will always have access to sound.

Q: QuestionDue to the open ear concpt, how would the sound quality be while mowing lawn or trimming weeds?
Asked by DarthCraig.
- A:Answer Loud noises will not work well with these devices. If you turn up the volume on the device and the phone the vibration is quite intense.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the 144.00 pair and the 88.00 pair?
Asked by Jim.
- A:Answer I have the less expensive titanium pair. I understand the difference is little bit less weight and about 2 hours more battery on the more expensive pair. I have never run out of battery power with my set.

Q: QuestionI like the look and concept of these, I absolutely hate the earbuds that go into your ear canal, I stay away from them. So with these, can someone standing next to me hear my phone conversation? Does it come off like speakerphone?
Asked by jen13289.
- A:Answer If someone is standing right next to me they might be able to hear something but not understand the conversation. When they are off my head I can hear sounds and understand some but not while being worn. Definitely recommend
Answered by Jenn
Q: QuestionWhat material is used to cover the earbuds. Is it all latex freeOn all areas
Asked by Bevsears.
- A:Answer There are no "earbuds" the "speakers" rest on your jaw bone directly in front of your ear. The "speaker" cover is plastic and according to AfterShokz, there is NO LATEX on the product.

Q: QuestionI drive a charter bus so I need to be able to hear but also who ever calling me they need to hear me so how is it on back ground noise ?
Asked by Busmom.
- A:Answer Perfect for that application. You can clearly hear ambient sound as you listen to music or any audio. They also come with earplugs, so you can block out the ambient noise and have undisturbed listening. They are especially good for your eardrums, since they are bone conducting. Best Bluetooth headphones I’ve ever owned.

Q: QuestionAre these legal to drive a car while wearing?
Asked by Rockey.
- A:Answer I don’t know if it is illegal, but I have driven while driving car and I can hear traffic. It is safe to listen to music and drive provide volume is not loud. It is very good for conference calls while driving as voice is clear than car Bluetooth.
