Move around easily while working or playing in this AKRacing EX-Wide gaming chair. Its steel frame and aluminum base support up to 330 lbs., and the easy-to-adjust armrests and seat height and foam padding provide comfort. This AKRacing EX-Wide gaming chair has large casters that roll smoothly across the floor.
I would give this chair 5 stars but it's seat is a bit firm and can get uncomfortable after a few hours. However, I understand that it may just need some breaking in. I've only had this chair for a few weeks at this point.
Adjustability is nice, I have a tall desk and it adjusts high enough that my arm isn't resting on the edge of my desk, so that's a bonus. Lumbar support is a bit big for me, but I just take it off if it bothers me.
Overall it's sturdy, easy to put together and worth it.
I actually put this chair together within an hour! It’s solid and very comfortable. I have been working from since March and needed something comfortable! It was a lil over my budget, but well worth it. Only complaint, it does not match my dining room table:).
Comfortable and sturdy, but falls short in places.
Comfort, Product construction, Set up
I'm a large person (6'2" 230) and the EX-wide chair fits with room to spare. The firm foam seat and lumbar pillow make for a very comfortable chair. Assembly was easy enough, and I was impressed by how sturdy the individual pieces were. Together, they made for a very solid feeling unit. That said, there were a few places that were disappointing. The arm rests have the look and feel of cheap plastic and only lock in place vertically. They also slide forward/back and pivot and since they don't lock they can shift during game play. The other disappointment is the head rest, which I stopped using because it won't stay in place. Whoever designed the cheap plastic part that tries (and fails) to hold the head rest in place should reconsider his job choice. Overall, the comfort of the chair earned it 4 stars but the arm rests kept it from getting the top rating.
I am a big person. I am able to sit comfortably in this chair without feeling constrained. This is a quality chair. It feels solid when I sit on it. I purchased on sale at a great value. Putting the chair together was not difficult.
gaming chairs are so overpriced. found this for 180$. overall happy with the purchase. material is stiff and rough but guess itll last longer who knows. it does recline all the way back but when u lean it doesn't lock in place and the armrest locks when it goes up n down but they slide back n forth too easily and my elbow slips. but all these could be pros for you.
Solid gaming chair, the material isn’t the most comfortable for when you’re in long gaming sessions, but it did earn significant praise from me with the lumbar and neck pillows, assembly wasn’t rocket science but wasn’t the simplicity one after a number of drinks one night would hope lol
I got this chair to help with the back and hip pain that I was experiencing in my old chair. The movable pillow helps with back pain and being able to adjust sitting easier helps my a ton. It and be had to lean, but the back reclines wonderfully.
This chair is great! Feels good and I can sit for a good while. But do stretch at times, can’t be sitting all day. Almost slept in it one time. Only issue is the bolts get loose overtime so just tighten them down every year at least
