I bought this product as a replacement of my old alienware because of lack of parts. so I decided to get this line because of its specs. It performs well as described and have not experienced any performance related issues. My only problem was that when i received the product, the default language was chinese and it came with a chinese software which was a pain to remove. the browsers automatically reverted to chinese (from IE to chrome) and changing them to english wasn't hard but it was annoying because there were no english instructions. If you don't mind reformatting and reinstalling then this can be resolved easy, but for those like me who want their system ready to game, the chinese software will be your biggest problem. Once the languages have been set to your liking, the other problem is the chinese anti-virus Baidu. It's well embeded in the system. I had it uninstalled but somehow it reinstalled and was up and running again after a month. It's like a virus and it's hijacking my current anti-virus. Uninstalling it is a pain because it was all in chinese. basically trial and error had to be done and still hoping that it doesn't reinstall again. So anyway this product is good. it runs smooth, as described, very nice, I don't know if I got a refurbished item or factory fresh alienwares really come with default chinese, but if this is the standard then just be prepared to uninstall or have some unwanted programs removed before you begin or if you are more patient then you can just reformat.
