I love my Alpha. I loved my PS4 pro too but as soon as I took the Alpha out of the box it devoured the PS4... I would have traded it in too. Aside from that frightening display, it beats the pro in all areas, and the pro looked amazing. I wouldn't recommend this to hardcore pc gamers, but they already avoid these small form gaming rigs. For me, it was the perfect segway into pc gaming. My apartment is also tiny, stuffing a big desktop would have been great too but it wouldn't have the breathing space it needs. If you already know pc's or don't need the small form, it would be silly to recommend I think, though it is still a solid package, but for someone on the fence, totally check out the i3-6100 model now that it is compatible with the graphics amplifier. Great starter pc. Also, I chose the alpha r2 over things like the asus gr8II and msi's trident 3 because it is TINY, half the size of the others or less, and while the others have better gpu for the price, the gpu cant be upgraded while this can have the gpu amplifier connected. Other than the gpu, the alpha has great upgradability (though more ram capability for future would be nice). Mine has been working great since I picked it i up and I am recommending them to all my console friends. Great product!!

Although it's not as powerful as nvidias 2017 cards, the 960 does a good job powering through whatever titles I play. Total war warhammer looks amazing and runs so smooth. Way better than my PS4 pro (which I love) and when I grab a better gpu and the amplifier it will be insane. With console iterations coming every few years or so, reportedly, now is the time to make the jump to pc gaming and this is the perfect Segway for first timers. Just don't try to install hivemind, it will corrupt your OS and you'll lose everything and have to reinstall windows, but in that regard Dell was very helpful getting it back i working order and quickly on the phone.
