Customers consistently note the Aurora R11's excellent performance and impressive graphics capabilities, frequently praising its speed and visual quality. Many also appreciate the system's value for the price and the inclusion of a fast SSD. However, some users suggest improvements could be made to the cooling system to prevent overheating during intensive use, and a few mention that the case design could be optimized for better airflow.
I wanted to build, but got tired of waiting for GPUs to be available, so picked this up - most of the games I'd play are older Witcher 3, GTA, etc - so a 2070 Super is fine. Otherwise I just intend to use it for photo editing, storage, etc. Despite the pictures that are part of the product listing, and even the box it comes in showing a logo that this has liquid cooling, it doesn't. The product image as of 10/19/20 shows a liquid cooler for the CPU, GPU and heat sinks on the motherboard that are not in this product. This machine is air cooled with 2 120mm fans, one at the bottom front, one at the top. The power supply, GPU, and CPU have their own fans too. To be fair the specifications tab on the product page does say air cooled, as does one of the answered questions. I didn't see that until I got this home, so much for trusting the product images. Lesson learned. PC is snappy, gets loud, and so much plastic on it. I get the aesthetic, but really feels like a heat trap. Additionally for me, the front bottom fan was damaged on receipt. It clicks when its on. If I keep this machine, going to have to buy a new fan - and the good folks on reddit mention there are a few recommend fans that pass Dell's BIOS checks. The Corsair ML120 being one of them - but I have not tried this to confirm yet.

I’ll make this short. I have alwyss built my own computers. I never once in my life thought I would ever own a pre built. I bought this for fifteenth hundred and I’m glad I did before it sold out. As if you want the Nvidia RTX 2070 Super you are going to pay at least 1100 for one and that is used.. As far as the quality goes let me just say I’m impressed. I know Alienware is one of it not the best pre built gaming PC you can get but I still wasn’t expexting such quality. It actuality has a Gold rated PSU, one of the best M2 SSD’s you can get, quality ram and as for the GPU it is over clocking wayyyy higher then I thought it would. I didn’t think for a second it would be stable at these speeds. I will be buying another Alienware the next time I need to upgrade. I got a M29Q Monitor and coming from 60hz refresh rate to a 0.5 ms response time 170hz refresh rate monitor with GSync. It is night and day difference. I mostly play OW. I main Ana. I’ve been sleeping ulting genjis left and right, my healing went from 14k avg to 20k avg healing done, beating mercy’s healing.. Though it is not just because I am able to aim better I just am much more engaged in the game. Its crazy but I have never felt so linked “at one with the game” or whatever lol. Also not going to lie I really like the look of it. The RGB is great and it’s not over the top, it doesn’t have a silly window. I never understood the whole window thing. I mean yeah if you want to watch the lights flash on your video card, ok.. though, that’s not smart you should be paying attention to what is going on in game. Not watching random lights flash through a window..

My laptop was having a hard time running the simplest of games, where I would put everything on the lowest setting possible, and was still having a hard time. Bought this system, and everything runs beautifully! All my games, from Among Us, Phasmophobia, Ark, World of Warcraft, etc, I can set on Epic settings, and the system runs smoothly, and renders all the details where I only was able to see almost pixilated objects. The boot up is nearly instantaneous, and downloads are barely a queue anymore! I always wanted an Alienware system, and just seeing the blue glow of lights through the emblem is awesome! BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!
