A definite upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Alienware Aurora R6 and this this R7 does not disappoint! Pros: Intel Optane Memory (Cuts loading times drastically) i7 8th gen processor Liquid cooling USB C ports AlienFX (Lighting) Cons: Power supply is 450w not 850w (it will be hard to upgrade a lot with such low power supply) Easily knocks one star off the rating! DVD/CD drive instead of blu ray I would recommend this desktop computer. The price is great (it is actually lower than when I purchased it) I have added a 4TB HHD, 500GB SSD, Razer mouse, Razer mouse mat, Alienware keyboard, I plan to upgrade the graphics card also but the 1060 is handling everything I am throwing at it from games to my adobe programs. I purchased the ASUS VG248QE monitor (Highly Recommend) 1ms Trace Free, LED, Full HD, 3D, Stereo Speakers, 4 Way Ergo Design, 144Hz Rapid Refresh Rate, DP port! (Always use DP (Display Port) not HDMI if you want the best picture and speeds) I originally purchased the HP Omen 24.5 LED FHD (Do NOT buy, screen starts being distorted within a month)

Powerful fast computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually build and customized my desktop computers, but this time I decided to buy an off-the -shelf system. After doing some research, I selected the Alienware Aurora R7. I'm not a gamer, but I figured that it will easily meet my needs for photo editing and software development. It does. It also boots fast. My current complaint is the unstable Alienware FX which does not work most of the time. The R7 has only 1TB of storage space so I may have to add some more in the future. Not a problem now, but it may be an issue later on depending on how much I need to add. The power supply may have problem supporting additional drives. But at this time, I'm satisfied with this machine. I'm happy with the quick turn around of this order from Best Buy.

Nice pc for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it for sale at 1250$. It is a great pc for the price i havent had any issues with it. The only thing i somewhat dislike is that is it a bit heavier than i had anticipated but that is my bad for not double checking the specs

I wish I could give no stars.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's unfortunate that I'm unable to give this PC no stars. Let me be honest and say that when this PC runs, it does so very well. However, I find myself having to restart everything 5 or 6 times before everything functions as it should. Programs constantly crash, drivers are always crashing, I'm completely unable to browse the internet at times because pages never respond. Even my troubleshooter crashes when I try and use it Since I'm past my 14 day return period I'm now stuck with this broken PC. Best Buy says they're unable to help me in any way even though they've sold me what is a known problem PC. Looking on the internet, I found that people have been having issues for well over a year with this model yet Dell has done nothing and Best Buy continues to sell them. My advice: Save your money and do extensive research before buying so you don't end up with a lemon.

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear that your computer is not working the way you intended it to. If you continue to experience crashes on your computer you can try these steps to diagnose the issue:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.

Fast, cool, great performer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this computer for business use. Excellent graphics. I run a ultra wide monitor, 39" wide with multiple windows open and it handles the graphics with ease. Stream video, edit files, email, adobe, all running at same time and it keeps on working. Liquid cooling helps keep the office cooler also. I don't notice as much heat build up around my desk like older computer.

Q: QuestionDoes this come with a keyboard and mouse?
Asked by Mouse.
- A:Answer It comes with both a keyboard and mouse. I upgraded the mouse to an Alien Gaming Mouse when I purchased this system. That doesn't mean the included mouse has any issues, I actually used it to do the initial set up, I simply wanted something more gaming oriented for my kids.
