Very Good Speakers! Excellent Value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced the blown rear speakers in my 2004 Colorado with these and, given the price, I am extremely happy with them. They have excellent highs and mid range with fine detail to the sound. I hear a lot of nuances in the sound that the factory Blaupunkt (good themselves) didn't reproduce. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the low end. It's not bad, but slightly lacking. That said, it wasn't a surprise. The low end of the specs is 70hz. So I expected it. Given the price and the excellent mid and high range, I'm happy. What I did do what add the Kicker Hideaway powered subwoofer and now the sound is incredible. Without the Kicker, is was still very good and I couldn't be happier. To get close to the sound I have you would have to double the price of the speakers and you still wouldn't get the low range I have with the Kicker. Since I replaced the front and rear speakers with the Alpines, The cost would have been about the same to get the same sound with more expensive speakers.

Great for the price! Much better than stock.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two sets of these for my wife's 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Her old speakers were so low you could barely hear anything. Installation was a breeze. The speakers feel rugged and well made. Packaging was easy to open and minimalistic, so I didn't have 20 lbs of box for small speakers. When I turned the radio back on after installing these, I was pleasantly surprised. They are loud compared to what was in there before. The bass was finally back too! They're not night and day but I also didn't connect them to an amplifier. I'm sure if I did theyd sound even better.

Crisp Highs and Heavy Bass
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Bought these in 2015 along with the 6x9's and they sound amazing when placed under amplification. Sound reproduction is good. The highs are crisp, and the bass is heavy and tight. The whole car is surrounded by audio goodness. If going to run these amplified set amp to high pass filter and get a separate amp and subwoofer for bass reproduction. if not getting a subwoofer for bass, set the amplifier to full range and enjoy.

Replaced these in my RV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I like to listen to audio books in our RV while traveling. The factor speakers were bad and it was so hard to hear the words clear while driving. I went to best buy and tested most of the speaks in the showroom. I settled on these speakers. They were easy to install myself. I have used them now for a few months and they are great. I can finally hear all the words without having to blast the radio. The clarity on these speakers is great.

My son's exact words were the speakers were sick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son recently bought a new Volkswagen Jetta to replace his old one that died. We had bought speakers the year before and when he got the new car he wasn't able to take the other speakers and put them in the new car so of course we went back to Best Buy and spoke to Joshua the installation guy and he recommended certain speakers that meshed perfectly with the awesome stereo that came with the car. As my son said the speakers were sick

Great sound output!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased and had these installed for a Christmas present. The installation cost was more then what was discussed prior to installation and I was not informed until I went to pay in the end. The speakers sound really good in the car. Just extremely upset about the hidden cost of installation.

Excellent sound and clarity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers rock! Much better than the other original ones. The geek squad were very friendly and did a great job on the installation. It took less than an hour from start to finish! I will definitely come back to shop this store. The sale person was helpful and answered all of my questions about the different types of car speakers.

Q: Questionwill these speakers fit in the rear of my 1998 jeep cherokee?
Asked by matt.
- A:Answer I installed these on my 2016 F150 rear doors. I am not an audiophile guy, just wanted to upgrade my sound and these do the job. Sound great with amp.

Q: QuestionIs an amplifier required for these speakers? I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota with the Infinity speaker system
Asked by Sarge.
- A:Answer Not required, but it wouldn't hurt them either. Coax speakers never need anything more than the head unit to power them. Of course, anything sounds better when you pump more juice to them via amp.

Q: QuestionHow much does car speaker installation typically cost?Looking to purchase 2 sets of car speakers (front and rear) for my '04 Chevy Monte Carlo SS...my stock speakers went out about a month so I've been relying on an external source for my sound....i need to know how much installation cost and will i need to purchase additional equipment for the speakers?

- A:Answer tooooo much, do it yourself and save some dough. It is easy. Hardest part is taking the doors off, which is usually only a couple of bolts and some clips. Youtube it.
