This went in my 2011 Jetta TDI, with the Alpine install kit. The kit makes for a very clean instillation. I would highly recommend getting it professionally installed. I did it myself and looking back it was way too much work. Overall, I ended up routing a long charging cable for my I-phone from the USB input. You can connect by BT but this seems pointless since I have my phone charging while I drive. I did get the Maestro iDatalink and it doesn't live up to the hype (at least for my car model). The tire pressure can't be displayed and airbag codes can't be dismissed. I've had it for about year now and like using it. The screen is nice and big but it doesn't have the kind of resolution that we are used to seeing on modern smartphones.
