I bought this sub because I had 2 12's in a large ported box but the subs I had were one of those package deals where you get 2 subs and an amp for not that much money and they were ok but lacked clarity and the box took up my entire trunk in my 2008 Honda fit and was very, very heavy. so out went that set up and in went this, a properly sized sealed box which is surprisingly small, that's awesome, this 10" sub and underneath it I replaced that weak 300 watt amp with an Alpine - X-Power Series 2400W Class D Digital Mono Amplifier since these new Type R's can handle 1000 rms and 3000 watt peak power and this single 10 straight blows my old set up out of the water. with a high performance battery, an capacitor, and zero gauge wiring my only weak point becomes my engines alternator. sound quality is amazing its super clear and finds every note high or really low and I have virtually my entire trunk back and none of that ridiculous weight the other set up had so better gas mileage :) and I have the gain on the amp and the deck turned way down and it still thumps I can't imagine how hard this will hit if I turn it up holy cow :) :) :)

Great design and performance from an overall well presented package. A tad too deep for shallow installation situations.

The subs are amazing for the size. I was extremely impressed with the sound that came out of these two 10 inch woffers. Would definitely recommend this product to you if you are looking for something not too big but can still pack a punch.
