These sub-woofers are top notch, too bad the sales staff didn't know anything about car audio.

For a 10" subwoofer this is a very powerful and impressive unit. It is ideal to go with the dual 4 ohm voice coil model versus the dual 2 ohm voice coil due to the fact not many amps run at 1 ohm stable. This subwoofer can operate very well in a sealed enclosure. You do not have to run the subwoofer at the full 1000 watts rms that it is capable of to get a good sound out of it. I am currently only running 500 watts rms (via the Alpine MRV-M500 amplifier) to mine and it is very impressive. People are stunned when I tell them it is a 10" sub and only running at 500 watts rms.

Had it now for roughly 10 months and absolutely love it. I have it in a sealed enclosure with 1200 watts RMS fed into it at 4 ohms. Contemplating adding a second now!
