could be just a little more tuned, but still sounds better than most other subs, I used several different amps to see if it would change, also tried different types of enclosures still didn't get rid of the slight sloppy noise it makes. still better than 99% of subs in the same class. If you want quality sound go with this monster and then go spend $1100 on a good amp
