- Answer Yes, it comes configured to vent out the front over the door. But can be changed to vent out the back(wall vent) or up thru roof(stack roof vent)

QuestionI assume from one of the answers the microwave can be vented inside. Is it out the front or up? We do not have a way to vent it outside.

QuestionHow loud is the fan?

- Answer It's louder than others I've heard but it has 2 speeds. The lower speed is much quieter. But the high speed is better than a forced air furnace blower. I vented mine through the wall and into the attached garage (Condo). The fan really pulls any smoke or odors up through the aluminum filter and out into the garage. I love this new Amana. Simple key pad, sturdy, cooks faster than my counter-top microwave of the same wattage, and a super price! I also bought an Amana Gas Range to match. Open box. Saved $114 because the manuals were missing.
