My siblings and I bought this for our 92 yr. old father who is in an Assisted Living facility. He was having trouble hearing us on his flip phone (which is low quality but the only phone he knows how to operate-I tried teaching him to use my iPhone but he couldn’t and asked for his flip phone back). My siblings who live out of town and out of state were having difficulty carrying on a conversation with him. The genius of the Echo is the speaker is so loud and crisp he hears everything we say. He is absolutely thrilled to be able to see them while they talk to him. He is not able to learn any new electronic devices but this drop in feature is wonderful. We just start calling his name and he goes over to the device. He doesn’t have to do anything. The setup was super easy and I was able to download a picture of him and my deceased Mother at the beach for his screensaver and he is over the moon about that. I recommend this product highly. It has made a tremendous difference in our Dad’s quality of life.

My first Echo show I own and is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I can now control my devices from the comfort of my bed without lifting a finger. The feel of it is very comfortable to hold and love the fabric touch! Plus the built in hub is a PLUS cause I don't have to buy a separate hub for my smart lights! I like that I can use my Philip's Hue Lamp with the Echo to control the lighting and colors. Also like the fact it can control my tv and receiver too! If you want to have a smart home I recommend to get this Echo Show! It's really Amazing! Amazon really outdid themselves with this device.

OMG!!!!! Sooooooo I’m in love with the third generation!!! I had the second generation but it’s apples to oranges! You need to make this purchase to see all that it does because I’m telling you right now they thought of everything and it’s well worth the price !!! The rotating base follows you around the room!!! Such an awesome feature if you are video chatting because you do not have to stay in front of the screen, it follows YOU instead. It’s also a cool feature if you ask Alexa to show you a recipe and you are cooking and needing to read the next step. Another example, I asked Alexa to play music by a certain artist (see pic). Not only did it provide the lyrics, but it offers 50 genres under “you may also like” and I’m like OMG WHAT A COOL FEATURE!! You can also add your favorite app accounts! This is a 10” screen and keeps my grand babies quiet for HOURS while I’m working from home!
