This Replaced Three Echo 2nd Generation
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Sound is so much better than Echo 2nd Generation. I had been using 3 Echo Speakers in order to hear music in all rooms. This one Speaker is currently all I'm using, no longer need 3 Speakers. I do plan on buying a second studio in the future so they can work together to provide even more highs and lows per reviews of read about syncing two studio Echo Speakers. This Speaker sounds really good without an HD Music Subscription, but may the future

Echo Studio Review
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is my second Echo Studio speaker. I bought one first but read and watched reviews on youtube that 2 is best for the best sound quality & this is true. One is good but 2 is great. This only works with Fire tv 4k & Amazon music though which is fine by me but some people don't like that.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Nice speaker for the price. Overall sound isn’t bad but I had to do some adjustments. I do love the 3D sound, but it only works if you have HD Prime Music. Alexa is very responsive. Overall the speaker is bigger than I thought and fairly heavy.

Amazing Sound!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Bass, Digital assistant, Sound qualityI own several different Echo Speakers & the Echo Studio is the best I have ever heard! I have an Echo in every room of my house & often play Amazon Prime Music on my “everywhere group” & the Echo Studio blows away my other Echo Speakers! Rich highs, strong mid tones & full deep base. This speaker can be added to a stereo pair with an additional Echo Studio & Echo Sub creating a 2.1 sound system. I highly recommend this speaker for any room that you want incredible sound!

(15 Reviews)- EngadgetRating, 4.4 out of 54.4November 15, 2019Echo Studio review: Amazon finally nailed the audio qualityAmazon's priciest Echo speaker is a beast. It's big, versatile and sounds fantastic. To get the most out of it, though, you'll want to consider a high-res streaming plan like Amazon Music HD. Q: QuestionJust got the Echo studio delivered and I'm wondering how to put into the everywhere speaker group. it says it's in there in the app but when I got to play music only the echo dots and show 5 play but not the Studio. Any suggestions on what to do?
Asked by Mondo74.
- A:Answer I have had no issue with including my Studio in my Home group. I did have issues with the automatically created everything group. So I created a new speaker group called home and added all my speakers to it.

Q: QuestionI just bought the Echo Studio a few weeks back. Works and sounds great. I heard its even better with the equalizer on. What do you have to do to turn that on?
Asked by BigBruce.
- A:Answer You should have the Amazon Alexa app downloaded to your phone. Open it and tap the "More" button, bottom right. Find "Settings" with the gear cog icon. Tap that and find "Device Settings". Tap that and find the "Echo Studio". Select it and go to "Audio Settings". The volume slider is showing, but tapping "Audio Settings" brings up the extremely basic Equalizer. Also, you can toggle on or off the "Stereo Spatial Enhancement" feature. I have found that music on the Echo Studio varies widely in volume and how aggressive the processing of sound seems according to the genre, recording era, audio streaming quality, etc... I constantly adjust volume, because some recordings sound flat until the volume is raised, but others have to be turned down to avoid overpowering the room. The equalizer can be used to set a recording more to your tastes, but I've left mine with just one notch enhanced mid-range. You can set some of these by calling "Alexa" and asking that the volume, etc...be adjusted. With the equalizer, I think I read that you have to specify the level...like "set bass to plus two"...but I've only tried the volume. I have had luck saying, "Alexa, set volume to 70".

Q: QuestionI have two echo like home theater. Work with the phone or tv. I can add the echo studio?
Asked by trouble.
- A:Answer Hello! To set up an audio system with your Echo devices, you can select 2 Echo devices and an Echo Sub, so you would not be able to add the studio to your current stereo pair. Have a good day!

Q: QuestionCan the Echo Studio be connected to my smart tv?
Asked by Jeff.
- A:Answer It can only be connected to Fire TV streaming devices like the 4K Fire Stick, Fire Cube and 3rd gen Fire TV. It won’t work with other smart TV’s or even the Toshiba/Insignia Fire TV editions. You can still pair it as a Bluetooth speaker to any TV with Bluetooth to output sound but you won’t be able to take advantage of Dolby Atmos.
