This is such a great tablet for children. We use this for my daughter who’s 4. There are so many great games on there for her to challenge herself from puzzles to songs to games to movies to books. It saved me when I’m taking all 3 kids to the doctor's office or an appointment. Or I have a newborn and it’s nice for my 2 other children to play on when I’m nursing the baby. It’s extremely easy to set up. It’s extremely durable and trust me when I say that because I have 2 toddlers. I love the fact that they offer a no questions asked warranty if it gets broken or damaged. You can place time restrictions and more parental controls, but honestly I don’t. I have the kids account activated and my daughter doesn’t over play on her tablet so I don’t feel like I need to limit her time…yet. We previously had the gen8 and it’s the same exact thing as that one, just a bigger screen from what I’ve noticed. The one things I’ve noticed a little more frequently is that some games are a little glitchy. Not a huge deal because my daughter just moved on to a new game. I would suggest getting a SD card for more storage. When at home we use the wifi for the tablet but when out and about it’s nice to have more storage to have a movie and several games downloaded and accessible.
