- Shortly, the button below will turn back to yellow (unless we sell out).

Absolutely fantastic

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I purchased this device to "cut the cord" from DirecTV, DISH, and Comcast cable to which I have subscribed the past 20 years. The runaway cost and the politics of certain channels were the deciding factor for me to make the switch. I am supremely happy with my decision at the availability of what I can watch on TV. There are loads of movies and documentaries and shows that can be watched for free via tubi TV, Pluto TV, IMDb TV, Fawesome, YouTube, etc. Installation is a breeze with a gmail account connecting to my home network. Shows are in real 1080 HD. Great buy at low one-time cost to replace the above expensive cable/satellite providers. Highly recommend for those wanting to move away from the expensive TV providers.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5TL;DR At the end of the day If you already have one or the other that is what I would go with and if you are new to stream devices A Fire TV stick is awesome, especially if you have Amazon Prime. I use Rokus and Fire TV sticks and smart TVs in my house. Lets start off with this, A Roku or Fire TV stick are hands down better experiences than smart TV's (TCL and other TV's like TCL don't count because they have stream devices like Roku built in). In my opinion Amazon Fire TV feels more like an Apple/netflix type product with its way in which it displays apps and also use. Like apple it will simplify streaming services a little bit by showing shows on your home page and you can get to them quickly without having to navigating through various apps. Roku is more like Android in that it seems a little more customizable and doesn't reach into the app level on the home screen (displaying shows to watch). They both have great voice control and voice searching. Honestly I like both but would lean towards recommending Fire TV to my parents and Roku or fire TV to my friend. If you don't have Amazon Prime I would also lean towards Roku. (TL;DR = Too long; didn't Read)

Outstanding device

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Forget getting any Smart TV. Find yourself a cheaper version of whatever TV you are looking to get and grab one of these to then.. make it smart! Plus the fact that you can just quickly grab it from your set and take it with you on vacation for instance, makes it a great choice. So many different apps within the Fire OS that you'll be sure to find something to watch at all times.

Happy with Fire Sticks
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I purchased 2 Fire TV Sticks for my two televisions. One did not have internet at all, the other one had internet but the model was to old to connect to the available streaming services. I now have YouTube TV and as of this date I am happy with both the fire sticks as I can access other choices that are free and also am satisfied with YouTube TV. Without the Fire Sticks I would not be able to stream and would be stuck with continuing with expensive Cable TV

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I have been a fire stick user since 2nd generation firestick. I've had the 2nd Generation, the Fire TV pendant, the Fire TV Cube, now and currently the 4K firestick. I can honestly say that I'm an expert of sorts This stick is definitely the smoothest running stick since the 4K. Android 9 running on Fire OS 7 is top knotch it brings native external storage FINALLY!!! Just bring it to the 4k stick, my pendant, and my cube.

Q: QuestionIs this a Second Gerneration?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello! It appears that this is the one released in 2020 which would make it the 3rd Generation for the Fire TV Stick. Have a great day!

Q: Questiondo you have to have merge tv from a cable company for the firestick to work
Asked by bchmom.
- A:Answer Hello, The Firestick is its own platform, that has no correlation to the cable companies. The Firestick requires Wifi, and then you can pick and choose the apps you want to use and pay for. It operates independently, so if you want apps like Netflix and Hulu, you would choose them and pay for them, versus paying the cable company. Or you can use both. Up to the user.
