4C/4T beast!
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is a beast of a chip. Picked it up to build a budget streaming rig with a 1660 Super card. but believe it or not this thing is way under-rated. It performs better than my old FX-6300 (3C/6T) processor. Lower TDP, and integrated graphics are more than enough for majority of desktop users. Will even be suitable for light gaming (nothing too intense) . To do this, highly recommend 3000mhz and faster ram. Dual Channel (2 sticks) and atleast 16GB ram. Your integrated GPU utilizes system memory, 8GB will not be enough (unless its just a desktop,) THere is no reason why the minimal now-adays should be less than 16GB. I paired mine with 2xGB DDR4 3200mhz PNY XLR8 ram. and a 512GB NVME PNY XLR8 SSD. super happy with the combo. Additionally its all on a budget Gigabyte A320-S2H board.

Very Good CPU.
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5To start with i love this cpu works great it has Intergraphics built in. This was for a build without a graphics card although you can use one with it. The graphics card would run on its own and cpu would just do the processing. I chose this on because we were on a budget gaming build. No complaints on the this Ryzen 3 as it works great on STEAM and off too. I got Star Wars Fallen Order at 60 fps which really good. So I do recommend this cpu if your on a budget build like I was. The included fan works good too I have plenty of air flow with 3 fans.

Great budget APU for basic computers
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Nice little budget APU for bill-paying/web browsing/HTPC machines, pair with some good 3200mhz memory, a solid state OS drive and a good HDD for media and it'll take care of your basic digital needs right and proper, and while the on-board graphics aren't stellar compared to a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit they're impressive for an Integrated GPU and can adequately handle older titles and some more modern ones with lowered graphics settings. The bundled Wraith Stealth cooler is also fairly quiet out of the box and seems to be holding the CPU to under 60*C even under max load. I just wish the 3400G hadn't spiked an extra $40 when I bought this as that had been my original choice, but for $100 you'll certainly get your money's worth out of this one and I certainly plan on following this up with its Zen 3 successor when the 3200G finally starts to show its age.

Solid budget CPU (when you can get it)
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThe 3200G is a smidge dated now, at least in comparison to the 3100 and 3300x (though I'm still pretty certain the latter is just a unicorn, never to be seen in the wild.) However, even still at the price to performance ratio it is great for a starter build. This went into my daughter's first computer, and she could not be happier to have her own machine now. That said, the general CPU shortage lately has made it difficult to find at MSRP, and I would never pay more than MSRP for this part as it's not worth it. Thankfully Best Buy is pretty good about that.

Great APU for $100

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5This CPU + GPU combo is the best yet. It blows intel out of the water. I’m able to play esports games no problem on this (Counter Strike, Valorant, Overwatch). Triple A games like Call of Duty push it a lot even at really low settings. This little CPU can do a lot at $100 even light VR. So that’s why I will be giving it Five Stars

Q: QuestionIs this a good graphics card for fortnite on PC , trying to get my streaming started and i need a graphics card
Asked by Kai28.
- A:Answer No, this is a Processor with a built in GPU (Graphics Processing Unit.) If you want to stream you'll need a dedicated (discreet) graphics card separate from the processor. I recommend a Nvidia 1660 Super GPU for starters if you already have a decent computer and don't mind running a little lower quality. If you are building a PC and need a processor, then a Ryzen 5 is your best bet.

Q: Questiondo I need thermal paste for this?
Asked by leg.
- A:Answer No, this APU comes with thermal paste already applied to the included air cooler heatsink. If you use a different cooler that may vary, but the included cooler includes a thin and adequate layer of thermal paste already applied.

Q: QuestionIs this processor compatible with the MSI-B450 Tomahawk Motherboard?
Asked by Al.
- A:Answer Yes, if you update the bios first. The bios that supports this cpu came out November 2019 so if your bios is older than that, you'll need to update.

Q: QuestionIs this ddr4?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This processor/graphics processor combo (known as an APU) is from a generation where DDR4 is the common memory type. The exact memory choice is determined by the motherboard, but is rarely anything other than DDR4 for this generation of processor. If you're looking for the best possible DDR4 memory to pair with this processor, I would recommend a low latency kit rated at a speed of 3200MHz such as the Corsair Vengeance LPX kit sold by Best Buy.
