Upgrade from 5930k

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Doesn’t feel any faster than my 5930k in everyday tasks. Although when it comes to gaming or anything that demands a heavy work load from a processor this thing slays!! I couldn’t believe that my overclovked 6 core processor was bottlenecking my 2080ti but it was. Frames in most games have gone up by at least 20% over my 5930k. I do have 64g of memory now as well instead of 16g with my old setup. If you’re still up in the air over getting this cpu, get it you won’t regret it.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This little processor has changed the face of gaming PCs and High End Desktops all over the globe. The only processors Intel has, able to keep up, are their $1,500 “server” processors. This deal simply cannot be beat. It’s no just this humble designer/gamers opinion either. It’s become official. The #1 Best Desktop Processor in the World- your looking at it. •drops the mike•

What more could you ask for?

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This thing is a BEAST! I got this to rebuild my old monster AMD unit that originally sported the infamous FX9590 5.0ghz nuclear reactor of a CPU. It only took 6 years, but finally, something has interested me enough to force an upgrade. That something is the 3900X. As you can all probably guess, this thing blows the old 9590 out of the water. Plus, I don’t need to nearly burn down my house to do so! I’m mainly using it to render cineform 5.6k 360 video, and it does it with ease. Temps never exceed 80c with my 240mm AIO, even under heavy load and stress tests. I’ve had no issues running premiere pro, fusion360, and simplify3d all at once. If you are doing any type of creative or production work, I highly recommend this CPU!

Beast in Performance!!!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:For games, Performance, SpeedI am new to PC Building and did a lot of research before venturing into building one and I am so glad I did; extremely happy with the outcome and proud to own one as this is the fastest PC that I have ever experienced let alone building one. This PC mainly intended for work(due to COVID-19 WFH) and for occasional gaming. This CPU is a beast in performance and can perform really well when paired with the right PC components. AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen processors are picky about RAM specs and using the ones optimzed for the X570 Motherboard (such as below) with right clock speed and network latency it does really well and the end result is a work horse. My PC runs super fast. I have not done any benchmarks yet; and am strictly speaking from a personal experience: MS office apps like word, excel just open up in a second without any lag or delay even the biggest powerpoint/excel/Word doc just opens up in a snap literally in less than 2s. For ex: I was able to install MS office from a 3.4 GB file in less than 30s tops; and the longest step in the entire process was entering the license key :) Inspite of opening several apps, multiple browser windows and playing heavy duty games like Troy,FORTNITE, Remnant, HITMAN the system still functioned very well without any lag. I have been an Intel guy for the last 20 years and this Ryzen CPU is a great leap in performance; highly recommend if you are serious about performance and have the budget for it ;) My full config is as below: Fractal Design Meshify Mini C Tempered Glass (white) Motherboard: MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk (Wifi) CPU: AMD Ryzen 3900X RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series 32GB PC4-28800 DDR4 3600MHz CL16-19-19-39 Model F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC HDD: Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe PSU: Gamemax 850W Gold+ GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 Super Advanced Overclocked EVO 8G GDDR6 Gaming Graphics Card (ROG-STRIX-RTX2060S-A8G-EVO-GAMING)

Q: QuestionI would like to buy a ryzen 3900x When this item will be on stock again?
Asked by Kabir.
- A:Answer Word on the street is that October 1, 2019 is when Ingram Micro, a big distributor, will have the Ryzen 9 back in stock. That would make the first week in October the likely time that competition escalates again for this product, and prices begin to come down. If you look around the Internet, you'll see really high prices by those doing arbitrage. Once AMD gets these into the distribution network and everyone can get them (like all of the major retailers), then you and I will be able to get this CPU. Now, that is still a month away, and samples (or teasers) will possibly trickle in and be snapped up due to the high demand. This is on purpose to get the demand up and to allow the fab to catch up. AMD of course wants to take advantage of the holiday rush, so they will do their best to get them on some boats soon. I can wait, as I went ahead and used a Ryzen 5 2400G until I can get the Ryzen 9. I'll just have an extra CPU and cooler once I upgrade.

Q: QuestionWould this GPU work well for 3D modeling and game development? Taking a class soon and will need my new PC to be able to handle my assignments.
Asked by ForeverAutumn.
- A:Answer This is a CPU not a GPU. A 12 core/24 thread CPU. You will still need to pair it with a GPU in the system you build. That said, as a CPU will handle 3D modeling programs like Blender very well. Excellent power for the money.
