Pros: -the best single socket cpu solution as of may 2020. 3950x probably will suite most people. -Can game and do serious ML work. -XMP 2.0 profile working with 64GB out of the box. -great for foldingathome -use for machine learning is excellenent along with Turing GPU -Can do make -j32 :D without loud server noise at home . Cons: - make sure to get adequate air flow, water cooling with custom loop may be the best option.

I didn't get mine from Best Buy, because they were sold out, but I did get mine from another well known seller. This CPU is insanely powerful and versatile. I use this for Gaming and Photo/video editing primarily. I have pair it with the Asus ROG Zenith II Extreme TRX40 motherboard, DDR4 3600mhz 64GB ram, and a Nvidia RTX 3090. im waiting on stock to come back in on the 3090's, because everyone is price gouging these bad. The 3090's are marked up another 1000 dollars from what i have seen, just trying to buy one.
