I have owned this light, durable, highly functional, expanding suitcase for two years. During that time, I have traveled with it both locally and to destinations reached by air. It fits nicely into the overhead compartment of an airliner; is well-designed to offer a deep and generous space on both sides for garments, makeup/toiletry bags, and it is so maneuverable through the airport that you feel it's walking itself on its fully spinning (360) little wheels. This is a lovely suitcase, whose design and color has drawn many compliments.

This is my first set of hard sided luggage. I bought this after it rained on my old soft sided luggage, and everything inside got soaked. I also bought two matching 31 inch Moonlight checked bags. It didn't rain on my first trip with this luggage, but I imagine this luggage would be very protective in case it did rain. It takes a little getting used to hard sided luggage. It is a little heavier than soft sided luggage. There are no outside pockets for stowing last minute items (like belts and watches at TSA screening checkpoints) - you have unzip the bag itself to put any additional items inside the bag. This can be awkward with a fully loaded (heavy) bag, and a line of impatient people waiting behind you at the TSA checkpoint. Other than that, these bags are stylish, highly protective, and they roll OK but not great - which is normal for most luggage today. These bags (and all luggage sold today) would benefit greatly from inline type skating wheels, instead of the tiny standard wheels you get on most luggage. Larger wheels would make luggage easier to push and pull around at airports. I hope American Tourister reads this, and updates their luggage wheels.

This is my first hard side suitcase and the performance exceeds my expectations. Perfect for a carry-on, light, easy rolling wheels, long expandable handle and impact and waterproof. Would recommend.
