Q: Can I bring this onto an airplane in my carry on luggage?
A: Yes, according to TSA regulation, power bank ONLY can packed in the carry-on bags. NOT allowed in checked bags. This model capacity is under 100Wh, it won’t be a problem as long as it is in carry-on. The largest power bank I carry on a commercial aircraft was 26800mah which converted about 97Wh. For more detail please refer to 49 CFR 175.10(a)(18)
Q: how many times will it charge a cell phone before it needs recharging itself.
A: Depends on the phone, but an average of about 7-8 phone charges.
Q: Will it charge a samsung s9+, nexus pad and Lenovo laptop?? LARRY
A: Shockly YES it will had no problem charging my 15” laptop and iphone 8 plus at same time
A: Yes, it will shut off power to the phone until the phone requires power again.
Q: How long does it take for the device to charge?
A: Around 10-12 hours to charge fully1
A: From experience, charging the 20,000mah portable charger takes around 6-7 hours, so it would be best to charge it overnight. With your google pixel 2, it should take around 80-100 minutes for full charge (0%-100%) with the fast charging port.
Q: Is it compatible with androids?
A: Yes you can charge android devices using this power bank.
A: So far I am not impressed with the Anker product - Anchor would be more appropriate. Takes over 20 hours for a full charge, then is sooo slooow to charge an iPad Air 2 using the “High Speed” ha ha output. Do yourself a favor, return it as fast as you can, then purchase a quality product such as Mophie. I have purchased 3 Mophie 20k and they work perfectly, and have a Mophie iPHONE charging case that is at least 4 years old that I use everyday and it still works great. I am a Mechanical & Electronics engineer and love to experiment and compare products. As with Apple, Microsoft and Mophie you can expect to pay a little more but you’re getting a better quality product. Anker description states that it is the best selling product in this category, but that does not mean that it’s the best and most reliable. I will be returning my Anchor, whoops misspelt Anker. Hope this was helpful. Not trying to disparage Anker products, but I paid the same price for the Mophie. Unless Anker can prove me wrong I stand by my evaluation (did I possibly get a unit that is malfunctioning? I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt).
