Awesome Monitor for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this monitor! And for the price.. it is amazing. It is so freaking sexy! thin, and elegant. Only bad thing is, like I mentioned above, I had to calibrate the color and brightness on the screen and in my computer. I do design work, and it is color sensitive so I needed it to look as good as possible. That and it only has HDMI ports (2) and VGA (the blue one) there is no DVI, which is isnt really a drawback, but I had to get a HDMI cord to replace my old DVI one. I suppose its better with HDMI anyways seeing as it does audio as well. Oh, that too! The monitor does sound as well. Not the best, but not too shabby... (basically no bass) Some assembly required though... not much though. And I noticed that on here some other reviewers mentioned that the bolt that secures the screen to the stand sticks out the bottom and causes the thing to be uneven... that wasnt true for me. It sucks up in the base nicely. No screwdriver or nothing needed. I guess another negative point is that the stand, while being made of metal and all, will rock back and forth pretty easy if you try and push the monitor. It is very strung, its just not rigid. Its not a problem though... unless you are moving your monitor around a lot. No USB ports on it... which isnt a problem for me. I never used them anyways, even on monitors that had them. The buttons are a nice touch style... like... there is no physical button, just a spot that you tap with your finger and it turns on. Its a huge monitor for the price... if you are thinking about getting it, GO GET THIS ONE!!! ITS AMAZING!

Buy it now! You'll love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I caught this monitor on sale for $169, and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it. I originally bought this as my main monitor for my MacBook Pro, and it worked great. However I'm now using it with my PC, and yep it's still great! The display is super clear, and with it being a widescreen display is great for working. It's very nice to watch videos out movies on, when I'm not editing them. The design is great, viewing angles are really good too. Build quality is good too, and does not seem as though it would break easily. The monitor can be used without the included stand too, giving it a nice clean look on your desk. If you can get this on sale, you will love it. So buy it!

Great monitor at sale price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor, terrible speakers and included cd (manual/drivers) Monitor looks great but has the F-UGLY black piano finish on the back. Speakers work 1 in 10 times i plugged it into my laptop. (screen being used as a display extension) Sometimes the screen is too bright even though it is at minimum brightness setting. hardware: 9/10 software: 4/10

Flat and clear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a tradeshow and it worked just fine. The only minor negative is the built in audio. It is really unusable with zero bass and since I don't use the audio out, it is not a real problem for me - just FYI.

Great for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This AOC monitor is great for the price it has good blacks and good color but it would be better if it was a 1440p monitor because then it would be more clear. But it's good for $170 But the picture I provide does no justice for how good this monitor really looks.

Great Display for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the display for 2 weeks now. The display is so big my daughter asked if she could just call it a tv. I'm a graduate student and I write a lot, I haven't had any issues as far as pixelation. I agree with the other reviews that the speakers are not great. I put a cartoon on for the kids and the sound was muffled and difficult to hear. Just plan on using external speakers. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're looking for screen space to see multiple windows. As an aside, the blueshirt in store tried to convince me that I needed a VGA cable and adapter for this display. I had looked online before shopping and knew the 27" had HDMI connections. I was right. Know what you need before you go in!

Beautiful Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only gave it four stars because the picture could be crisper than it is and there should be an option to adjust the viewing angle. I really recommend updating the drivers to get the best picture. that will save you a lot of hassle trying to figure out the settings with the "button free controls" Once it's set it is a good picture. The borderless look is great when using a dual monitor set up. I selected I would not recommend this to a friend only because of the amount of work it takes to get the picture right. Most people want it to be perfect right out of the box

Q: QuestionCan this monitor be mounted on a desk mount for multi-monitor viewing?
Asked by JLoLA.
- A:Answer This monitor doesn't have VESA mounting for mounting to a multi-monitor mount/stand. I did however find a possible solution for this problem on a youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwsXK-vg1gc.
