AOC. All I need.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendGSYNC, GSYNC, GSYNC. Crisp. Screen is buttery smooth. Frames are as smooth as they get. Colors are great out of the box especially for a TN Panel, but looking up color profiles helped enhance the depth as always. Beautiful design. Some people say the build quality is "Less than satisfactory".. I say "Yeah, they're drunk." Solid build quality. Adjustable to any angle you would actually need. Front, back. Horizontal, Vertical, and anything in between. Height adjustment great. Stand spins easy. No overbearing designs. Straight to the point. Sure its a gaming monitor w/ GSYNC and ULMB Technology..but is very easy on the eyes. First 144hz, 1ms Response, GSYNC/ULMB, reasonably priced Gsync monitor is a success. VG248QE doesn't count anymore. I applaud you AOC. Five Stars. And the monitor arrived in perfect condition. Less so the box, but I ain't looking at the box all day. Who cares lol Thank you Best Buy.

Best bang for the buck G-sync Monitor
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe very 1st gsync monitor that came out was the asus vg248qe 24" monitor , now this, I sold my Asus to a friend and got this baby as my 2nd G-sync monitor, G2460PG is a TN panel , PROS: with 144 refresh rates (Great for Competitive gaming) wether it be FPS, RTS, Racing games or RPG's whatever suit your style will definitely be a game changer, this panel also has a 1 MS response time so that every move is smooth and this monitor will respond faster than any IPS panels, The BEST part of this monitor is the G-SYNC made by my favorite graphics card maker , what it does is it sync's the refresh rate of your monitor with your graphics card, you need an Nvidia 600 series and up to get it working. Cons: Color reproduction and contrast isn't par with IPS panels, its expected as it is a TN panel, but a little bit of calibrating would do the trick. Viewing angles isn't as good as well, this is a gaming monitor and is not really recommended if you are all about color fidelity and accurate colors at all angles. Overall I recommend this monitor if you want to try G-sync at 1080p. Get this monitor with Geek Squad Protection as it is expensive $499 originally but with $50 off from Best Buy might as well give that saving back to them and get the awesome protection plan.

Superb All-Around Monitor
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendEverything works advertised. Excellent gaming monitor and G-Sync makes everything very smooth. Works well with movies but not as well as an IPS panel but good enough to compose videos for multi-media editing. The colors are very good when properly adjusted. Received via UPS in 3 days! Excellent service Best Buy and UPS! Best Buy price matched Newegg and shipped for free too. Received in good condition, works perfect and no dead/stuck pixels.

It is good but not perfect
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is a good monitor. If you are looking for G-sync it is basically all BB carries aside from the ROG and that's twice the price. OK good news first, G-sync works great and it makes an obvious difference vs my old 60hz monitor. I mean real obvious. So I am happy with that. But my old monitor was an IPS and there is a dropoff in the color accuracy on this one. I finally configured it in a way that's good but there's still a fair amount of bleed. Also, 1080p is great and all but I think higher resolutions are the obvious choice of the future. Not that you can get that with g-sync (or at least certainly not at this price). AND it had a dead pixel when I got it! I suppose I could have returned it but it was only one and it was deep in a corner and I didn't want to wait on a new one. It's months later and that pixel is still there. So I am still not real thrilled with that. So yes dead pixel = I think there are some build quality questions. That and the stand is incredibly awkward. Moving this thing around would be a true pain, god forbid you ever have to load it in a car or something as well. I'm glad I got it, for gaming first it is really smooth, but keep in mind these limitations.

Awesome quality for price
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis monitor can handle anything my gaming computer can throw at it. Even with the most demanding game's graphics set to very high, I have had zero video distortions thus far. This is all thanks to Nvidia's G-Sync. I'm so glad that I made this purchase. I'm unsure why anyone would really need to spend $800+ to have the most popular gaming oriented monitor when there are options like this which look and work great. love it!

Good monitor for G-sync
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI purchased this monitor to pair up with my 970 video card and it has made my gaming experience much smoother in games. The high refresh rate helps also. It's the lowest price Gsync monitor that I'm aware of and scores good across review sites. It's only 24" and 1080p, so if you are looking for higher resolution or larger screen, then this isn't monitor for you. Only issue I had was I had to disconnect my 2nd monitor and boot up PC with only the new monitor connected before my system would see it. not sure if this is due to Display Port, motherboard, or just what you have to do with this type of monitor or port.

good G-Sync moniter for the price
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe G-Sync works as advertised, no tearing, no stuttering, and game play was smooth. The color was decent when calibrated, viewing angle could be better but that is to be expected from a TN panel. With color shifting when viewed from slight off angle from both vertical and horizontal (viewing angle was narrower than my Samsung TN panel). There is a noticeable gamma shift from top to bottom with the top darker than the bottom even when not viewed off angle, hence 1 star off for that. Overall, a pretty good monitor for gaming, certainly the cheapest monitor with G-Sync.
Q: QuestionIs this IPS panel technology or last decades disposable TN panel technology?
Asked by Tom.
- A:Answer Hi.. although the other answer states that it is an IPS panel.... almost every where i have searched for this monitor shows it to be a TN... here is a link to the company's product page http://eu.aoc.com/en/gaming/products/g2460pg ... it states clearly that it is a TN panel type xD
