I was extremely displeased with my purchase. The box is misleading and I have never seen an Apple charger that was so short. I thought I was purchasing a replacement original charger for my phone. Totally disappointed.

This is the perfect cord for Apple Play. It’s the perfect length to plug in under my armrest of my truck and sit on my console to charge my phone and access controls on my phone.

It’s a genuine Apple lightning cable; just super cute and small! I threw it inside the squishy pouchie for one of my better Anker charging blocks, so that now I’ve got that in addition to a little miniature Micro USB cord measuring about the same size. Now if needed I’ll be good to charge pretty much any/all devices I typically carry around with me throughout the day. I bought it mainly because it was on Open-Box; I find Apple products to be a little pricey (especially stuff like cords that I have a million different ones and can get cheaper pretty much anywhere else). And that’s not to say this was cheap. It wasn’t. But it was a cute little buy and it pairs well with where I’ve homed it and since it’s Apple and all that it’s not like it’s really going to go to waste; by myself not my family if ever they get their hands on it as everyone in my home is a longtime Apple user.

This is a very short lightning cable. However, that's a feature - this one creates less "clutter" if you leave it plugged in the same place. Like any Lightning cable, I assume it will eventually break down in exactly the same place - where the lightning port meets the cable. It costs the same as the 1m cable, for what that's worth - you're not getting a break there.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to keep unplugging and re-plugging the wire I have to charge my iPhone. It's a short wire because I put my iPhone next to my laptop anyway. It does its purpose makes it easy to backup my iPhone or download music or movies from iTunes.

You can't go wrong with a certified Apple cable. I HATE buying cheap ones that I have to replace after 2-3 months. The Apple brand will work forever if you take care of it. My only concern is the prices on the Apple cables, but it's Apple, what are you gonna do about that.
