The system storage will fluctuate depending on how you use the device and at times it may take up more than 12 GB of storage. With a 64GB iPad Air, expect to get about 52GB of usable storage. With a 256GB iPad Air, expect to get about 244GB of usable storage.

- A:Answer Overall, the main difference is just how they operate. For example, take the Macbook Air vs. Macbook Pro. The Macbook Pro is much better for editing, gaming, etc. The Macbook Air can still do all of those things but it will harder and slower on the computer. That is similar to these iPads. The Air will still be a good option but not as fast for high power things.
