This is a beautiful iMac. I love the way it looks. The Retina display makes the movies I watch come to life. I'm ecstatic about the speed and ease that it runs my programs (Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro). I'm looking forward to making great movies and music with this new powerful new computer!

Such a beautiful display! I got the 3.5ghz version with the 1TB Fusion Drive here at bestbuy because it was cheaper than at Apple or elsewhere. Overall the computer runs very smooth and cool, even after an hour of browsing the web with the screen at almost max and a ton of background apps open, music playing etc. the computer is absolutely stone cold to the touch like its on sleep mode! I'm upgrading from the 2011 iMac 21" so it's a huge contrast. That sucker runs HOT! I don't use this computer for any type of photo editing or gaming really just word processing, music Internet/browsing and a movie or two. This computer has fulfilled all of my expectations and then some! :)

About 20 years ago I had an iMac, I loved it. It was lost in a large house fire my wife and I suffered. Thankfully, after that 20 year span, I am back!! I have suffered through windows repeated "updates" to their operating system and alway swore I was going back to mac. I love it!! Took a while to get used to the small differences like the close and minimize buttons being in the upper left hand corner. I also purchased the magic touchpad. This is highly recommended!! Once you learn all the gestures you will regret ever using a mouse. It does come with a mouse and it is a very nice touch style mouse, I am just so used to touch devices and gestures. I do a lot of photo and video editing and this thing is a dream!! It is sleek and stylish. My brother kept asking me where the rest of my computer is?? The display is amazing. I look so forward every day to getting home and firing this thing up.....and oh yes, I am writing this on my mac! Don't even get me started on the whole continuity with my iPhone 6. I can send emails and web pages back and forth from phone to mac and can also make and take calls from my mac. It will also tap into my iPhone for wifi if my network goes down!! Genius! If you are a mac fan and looking for an awesome desktop, this is your machine!!! You will love it. Oh yeah I almost forgot!! New iOS coming soon this fall with many updates. The new iTunes music is already out and It is so much better than the old iTunes, I used iTunes on my phone and was not a fan. I do love it now.
