It took over 9 hours to render a 7 minute PowerPoint presentation on the old Mac. I let the old one run for over 10 days straight once rendering an instructional video. It never finished. It took less than 2 minutes with this one. This Mac is quieter than the old one too. I like the mouse. The keyboard works unplugged, so I can plug my phone in the cable to charge it while I’m on the computer. It’s thinner around the edges, so I can push it back a little further into the corner of the room on the desk. I’ve done some video work with it also using Davinci Resolve. Just basic stuff. I laughed out loud when the video rendered so fast.

Since I have dropped windows pc's, I have no regrets. This computer is way faster booting and loading programs. The larger display is beautiful and the time it took to go from "out of the box" to "up and running" was 10 minutes with no errors or problems. I would definitely recommend this Mac

Excellent way to buy a computer. Used my and my wife's stimulus check to buy a new family computer. The Best Buy manager Austin is so great to deal with. Bought a Imac 27 that we are certain will last at least ten years and still be current enough to be easy to use. Austin talked us into the 3 year Applecare warranty too!
