Q: No mention of what tv stations it will pick up in my area, such as local channels and news etc.
A: If your local channels have an app, you can download it from the app store, but it does not pick up local channels. It only works with apps and the iTunes store or screen mirroring with your iPad. This requires internet, either streaming to the device via wifi or it requires an ethernet cable attached to your modem to stream. You need a digital antenna to pick up anything over the air. A: The difference is in the equipment and functionality your system is set up to perform. If your TV is not 4K, there is virtually no difference. With compatible equipment you will get a better picture quality and greater functionality offered by the video source.

A: Yes, you should be able to. Start your app on the iPad, and then screen mirror it to your Apple tv, or, screen mirror to your iPhone, MacBook, anything in the Apple universe. If you are using android, this will not work with Apple Tv. Android and IOS don't like each other. The work around for something like that is a USB cable directly to your tv.

A: You can use your tv as the monitor. Yes all your Apple devices can be mirrored on the Apple TV device . I use my Apple Pro’s and can do so much when I connect to my Apple TV and all Apps which I can use also. It’s pretty nice to see things on my 75in TV. and with the new 4K Apple TV it’s even so much clearer too. Omg I love the 4K ...
